Results Mini-Mental Test, depression, and quality of life mean scores of the elderly in intervention group before reminiscence therapy program increased after the administration, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). In the intergroup comparison, a significant difference was found between elderly individuals' posttest Mini-Mental Test, depression, and quality of life mean scores (P < 0.05). Conclusions Our results suggest that regular reminiscence therapy should be considered for inclusion as routine care for the improvement of cognitive functions, depressive symptoms, and quality of life in elderly people with Alzheimer.Öğe The Effects of Anger Management Education on Adolescents' Manner of Displaying Anger and Self-Esteem: A Randomized Controlled Trial(W B SAUNDERS CO-ELSEVIER INC, 2018) Lok, Neslihan; Bademli, Kerime; Canbaz, Muammer[Abstract not Available]Öğe Kronik ruhsal hastalıklarda yardım arama davranışları(2017) Bademli, Kerime; Lök, NeslihanBu çalışmanın amacı, ülkemizde kronik ruhsal hastalığı olan bireylerin tıp dışı yardım arama davranışlarıile ilgili ülkemizde yapılan çalışmaları belirlemek ve bu alandaki mevcut durumu ortayaçıkarmaktır. Methods: "Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale" and "Healthy Life Style Behavior Scale" were used. The study was completed with 40 caregivers in total with 20 in the intervention group and 20 in the control group. Results: It is important for the healths of caregivers to include similar programs for the caregivers of dementia patients in continuous and regular applications. Discussion: The results highlight the importance of the "First You Should Get Stronger" program significantly decreased the caregiving burden and significantly developed the healthy lifestyle behaviors of caregivers in the intervention group. Since dementia is a difficult neurological syndrome with patients cared at home, it generally wears out the caregivers significantly. It is suggested that the nurses and healthcare professionals working with dementia patients are evaluated separately and that they carry out caregiving applications within the scope of the "First You Should Get Stronger" program. This is a descriptive and correlational study intended to describe the correlation between health perception and the physical activity of adults. The sample was all voluntary 96 participation. The data were collected by the Perception of Health Scale and International Physical Activity Questionnaire. Number and percentile distributions were examined and the t-test was used. Pearson correlation Coefficient (Pearson r) was also used to test the correlation between Perception of Health Scale and International Physical Activity Questionnaire-IPAQ. The socio demographic data of the adult individual showed that their average age was 27.132.28, that 62.8’% were female, and that 31,2% were male, 57,3% had completed primary school, 42.7% high school and upper . Of them, 41.7% were married, and 58.3% single. 87.5% had children. 76% live in the city, 24% live in rural areas and 63.5% perceive the economic situation as good and 36.5% as moderate. When the scores of the individuals in the physical activity questionnaire were evaluated, 23.9% were found to be inactive and 76.1% were found to be the least active. In this study it was observed that the majority of participants were physically active. That the less educated, men, singles, lower economic status and lived in the urban area have low health perception scores. In this study there was a strong correlation between the physical activity level and the control center on the positive side, a weak relationship between the self-awareness and the positive side in the positive direction. Physical activity was related to better self-health perception.Öğe Relationship Between the Health Perception and Physical Activity of Individuals(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 2018 Aralık) Bademli, Kerime; Lök, NeslihanThis research was conducted to determine the relationship between physical activity and health perception in the general adult population.
