Öğe The branches of the descending palatine artery and their relation to the vomeronasal organ in Angora goats(CZECH ACADEMY AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES, 2006) Besoluk, K; Eken, E; Bahar, SThe aim of this study was to reveal the branches of the descending palatine artery, and its relation to the vomeronasal organ in Angora goats. For this purpose, ten heads of adult Angora goats obtained from a slaughterhouse were used. The ramifications of the latex enjected descending palatine artery and their vomeronasal organ-related findings were revealed by fine dissection and transverse sections. Arterial blood reached the caudally vomeronasal organ primarily via the sphenopalatine artery, and also cranially via a fine branch of the major palatine artery by crossing the palatine fissure. The average diameters of both the descending palatine artery and its branches were thicker on the left side than on the right, and its ramifications were not variable in this species.Öğe The left cranial vena cava in a male Holstein calf(INDIAN VETERINARY JOURNAL, 2004) Bahar, S; Ozdemir, V; Tipirdamaz, SA complete left cranial vena cava (LCVC) was found in a 45 day old Holstein calf during routine dissection. This calf has double cranial vena cava. The LCVC passes over the dorsal aspect of the left atrium to reach the coronary sulcus and opened into the right atrium below the opening of the caudal vena cava. This case is compared with similar cases in the literature.Öğe Subgross and morphometric formation of the brachial plexus in Balb/C mice(INDIAN VETERINARY JOURNAL, 2005) Ozdemir, V; Bahar, S; Tipirdamaz, S[Abstract not Available]
