Öğe Design and implementation of an electrical furnace for firing ceramic products(2011) Bayindir R.; Bulut S.In this study, an electrical furnace for firing the ceramic products which its heat reaches up to 1000 °C has been designed and temperature control has been accomplished. The temperature values inside the furnace have been read from three different zones via K type thermocouples and temperature has been controlled through PIC 18F452 microcontroller. In the study which has been conducted the furnace can be operated in 10 different temperature zones for any step desired temperature and time values. Temperature values in the furnace, entered temperature and time information and current value drawn from the electric network by the furnace have been displayed on the LCD screen. © 2011 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l. - All rights reserved.Öğe Power circuit simulation of electrofusion welding machine without transformer [Trafosuz elektrofüzyon kaynak makinesinin güç devresi benzetimi](2010) Bayindir R.; Demirtaş M.; Göztaş M.Polyethylene material has been one of the most commonly used material during the transportation of liquid and gaseous materials in today. During the use of polyethylene material over long distances are needed to welding to each other. Electrofusion welding techniques is known as the most reliable structure in welding technology. Electrofusion welding machines used in applications with transformers are expensive and difficult to transport. To solve this technical problems for this type of welding machines are manufactured without the transformer. In this study, Electrofusion welding machine without transformer with 3 kW were designed and simulated with Matlab / Simulink environment. The required voltages were produced for welding process.
