Öğe Determination of Physical Activity Levels of Men and Women in the 20- 30 Age Range: The Case of Batman Province(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 2020 Nisan) Boz, Hilal Kılınç; Bayrakdar, Akan; Demir, KenanThe aim of this study is to determine the Physical Activity Levels of Men and Women between the ages of 20-30. The universe of the study included men and women living in the province of Batman; The sample included the voluntary men and women aged 20-30 who were living in the province of Batman. There are a total of 1524 people, 762 men and 762 women. A questionnaire consisting of two parts as socio-demographic characteristics and international physical activity questionnaire. SPSS package program is used in the calculation of the obtained filtering. In the 1524 computers for the study, 732 of them are between the ages of 20-25 and 792 of them are between 26-30 years of age. According to the findings of our study, both women and men had high levels of physical activity. There was a significant difference at the level of p <0.001 between the physical activity levels of women and men. In addition, although there was no statistical relationship between age and physical activity level, it was determined that the physical activity level decreased as the age progressed. As a result, it can be said that the level of physical activity decreases in both women and men as the age progresses.Öğe Examination Of Physical Activity and Body Composition Levels of Adolescents(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 2022 Aralık) Yıldız, Yağmur; Saygın, Özcan; Bayrakdar, AkanAraştırmanın Amacı: Araştırmada adölesanların fiziksel aktivite düzeylerini çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Materiyal ve Metod: Çalışmanın örneklemini Ankara ilindeki okullardan randomize yöntem ile seçilmiş 10-14 yaş arasındaki 551 kız ve 553 erkek olmak üzere toplam 1104 çocuk oluşturmuştur. Katılımcılara kişisel bilgi formu, Çocuklar için fiziksel aktivite (ÇFAA) ölçeği uygulanarak vücut ağırlığı, boy uzunluğu ve vücut kitle indeksi (VKİ) ölçümleri alınmıştır. Grupları karşılaştırmak için tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Elde edilen bulgulara göre erkek çocukların okula ulaşım türlerine göre fiziksel aktivite düzeylerinde anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Çocukların uyku süreleri incelendiğinde erkek ve kız çocukların BKİ ile Fiziksel aktivite düzeyleri benzerlik göstermektedir (p>0.05). Teknolojik cihazı günlük kullanma süresinde ise hem erkek hem kız çocukların BKİ ve fiziksel aktivite düzeylerinde önemli farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir (p<0.05). Erkek ve kız çocukların teknolojik cihaz günlük kullanma süreleri ve uyku süreleri ile fiziksel aktivite düzeyleri arasında negatif yönde (p<0.05), BKI ile pozitif yönde ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, teknolojik cihazların uzun süreli kullanımının beden kompozisyonunu ve fiziksel aktivite düzeyini olumsuz yönde etkilediği düşünülmektedir. BKİ ve fiziksel aktivite düzeyinin uygun seviyelerde olması için uyku saatinin 8 saat olması ve teknolojik cihazlara ayrılan sürenin daha az olması gerektiği düşünülmektedir.Öğe Examination of the Relationship Between the Reaction Time, Competition Result with the Competition Hour in the World Indoor Championships (2006-2022): 60 Meters(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 2023 Ağustos) Satılmış, Nuray; Taşdemir, Bülent; Bayraktar, Işık; Bayrakdar, AkanThe relationship between the reaction time and the total running time of male (n=407) and female (n=345) athletes competing in the 60-meter wind sprint branch at the world indoor championships between 2006 and 2022 and the competition hour was examined in this study. Statistically significant and negative relationships were found between competition hour and athletes' reaction times, competition hour and athletes' competition result ratings in both genders (rho<0.040; p<0.05). When the subject is examined in terms of the stages of the competitions, no relationship was found for both genders in the final stage while the same relationships were preserved in the semi-final stage. At the qualification stage, a positive relationship was observed between the competition hour and the reaction time in both men (rho=0.25) and women (rho=0.22). In particular, it will be important that the competition time zones in the qualification stage are in similar circadian zones so as not to create a disadvantage among the athletes, and that the competition programs should be prepared by taking the performance-limiting and performance-supporting time zones into account.Öğe The Investigation of the Effect of Static and Dynamic Core Training on Performance on Football Players(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 2020 Nisan) Bayrakdar, Akan; Boz, Hilal Kılınç; Işıldar, ÖmerThis study was carried out to investigate the effect of static and dynamic core training on the performance of football players. In this study, static and dynamically applied core exercises were evaluated in terms of speed and agility in football players, and then their effects on anaerobic power tests, core stabilization tests and body composition were compared. While 10 of the 30 football players participating in the study were practicing dynamic core exercises and 10 of them were practicing static core exercises 2 days a week for about 9 weeks and 30 minutes a day, 10 athletes continued their football training with the other group athletes as control groups. The effects of the exercises, performed at the end of 9 weeks on performance, body composition, and core stabilization tests were compared in the pre and post-test in order (p<0.05). There is no significant difference in the height, body weight, body mass index parameters of 30 subjects (10 control, 10 static core, 10 dynamic core) belonging to the 3 groups participating in the study. Significant differences were found at waist level and hip circumference at the level of p<0.05 in comparisons between the first and last measurements of all anthropometric measurements. While there was a significant increase in the duration of leg lift, push-up, plank, shuttle, and isometric tests, a decrease was observed in the plank, shuttle and isometric test times in the control group. In the pre and post-test comparisons, 30 m speed, long jump, vertical jump, agility 550 and arrowhead agility tests showed a significant difference at p<0.05 level. It can be said that core studies should be included in training aimed at increasing performance in the football branch.Öğe Investigation of Weight Loss Methods of Wrestlers Fighting in Different Styles and Categories During the Competition Period(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 2023 Nisan) Sarıkaya, Mehmet; Ökmen, Mehmet Şerif; Kılınçarslan, Gökmen; Bayrakdar, AkanThis research was conducted in order to determine the preferred weight loss methods of wrestlers in the category of juniors, cadets and espoir who compete in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling. 215 male wrestlers between the ages of 14 and 17 participated in the study. In order to determine the weight loss methods of wrestlers, the “athlete weight loss methods and effects scale” developed by Yarar et al. (2016) and the personal information form developed by the researchers were used. In the analysis of the data obtained from the wrestlers SPSS package program was used. Independent t test was used from binary comparisons and ANOVA test was used for multiple comparisons. Significance level was accepted as p<0.05. According to the styles variable, it was found that there was a significant difference between free and Greco-Roman wrestlers in the diet sub-dimension of the athlete weight loss and effects scale (p<0.05). According to the category variable, it was determined that there was a significant difference in the diet and ergogenic aids sub-dimensions of the juniors and the espoir (p<0.05). As a result, it is observed in the research findings that wrestlers usually use the diet method as a method of weight loss. It is thought that one of the most appropriate methods to protect the health and athletic performance of athletes is to apply a conscious diet, which will be more advantageous than other methods. In addition, it can be said that wrestlers consciously and healthily apply weight loss methods as they get older.
