Öğe CD19 complex and memory B cells in patients with Down syndrome(WILEY-BLACKWELL, 2015) Artac, H.; Seckin, A. N.; Ozdemir, H.; Ceylan, A.[Abstract not Available]Öğe Determination of Deformations as a Result of Seismic Loadings on Two-Dimensional Reinforced Concrete Frame via Terrestrial Laser Scanners(WILEY-BLACKWELL, 2014) Ceylan, A.; Gumus, M.Parallel to the technological developments, methods of defining locational data are changing. Laser scanners bring new advantages to engineering measurements and geodesy. Terrestrial laser scanners, which have previously been used in map engineering, have become an alternative method of measurement, especially for terrestrial applications. A common characteristic of deformation measurements is the requirement to measure the location of sufficient reference and object points established on the monitored structure. The number of reference and object points is limited when using classical methods, but not when using a laser scanner. Due to the limitations of classical geodetic survey methods, such as difficulty of application, high costs and low production speed, the present study applied ground laser scanners to deformation monitoring. A two-dimensional (2D) deformation survey was made of a concrete frame placed on a loading wall. Cartesian coordinates, derived from survey and evaluations, were converted into a standard coordinate system using the Molodensky-Badekas 3D similarity transformation. Student's t test has been used to determine whether it was significant with the difference of coordinates or not. The deformation amounts and directions obtained from the electronic tachymeter and ground laser scanners were found to be very similar.Öğe Precise height determination using simultaneous-reciprocal trigonometric levelling(TAYLOR & FRANCIS LTD, 2008) Ceylan, A.; Baykal, O.Precise levelling method has been used for the determination of precise height for many years. The application of this technique is difficult, time consuming and expensive especially in rough terrains. These difficulties have forced researchers to examine alternative methods of height determination. As a result of modern technological developments for high-tech instruments, research of the precision trigonometric levelling has been required once again. In this study, simultaneous-reciprocal trigonometric levelling (SRTL) method is applied with different sight distances in order to determine optimum sight distances using a sample test network in Selcuk University Campus, Konya, Turkey. The results are compared with precise geometric levelling in terms of precision, cost and feasibility. SRTL method for sight distance S=200m resulted with the standard deviations of +/- 1.86mm/root km and with the production speed of 4 km/day.Öğe Sepiolite as a feed supplement for broilers(ELSEVIER SCIENCE BV, 2017) Yalcin, S.; Yalcin, S.; Gebes, E. S.; Sahin, A.; Duyum, H. M.; Escribano, F.; Ceylan, A.This study was planned to determine the importance of sepiolite in broiler nutrition. For this purpose a total of 180 Ross 308 male broiler chicks aged one day were used. One control group and two treatment groups were designed for 6 weeks of experimental period. Each group was divided into 10 replicates of 6 chicks each in pens. Sepiolite (Exal T (R), Tolsa Turkey) was added at the level of 0, 1 and 2% to the diets of control group and the first and the second treatment groups as topdressed, respectively. Sepiolite supplementation at the level of 1% improved final body weight, weight gain and feed efficiency. Dietary treatments did not affect feed intake, gut pH, carcass yield, relative weight of the liver, kidney, spleen, bursa of Fabricius and carcass parts, footpad score, excreta and litter characteristics. Tibia characteristics, blood parameters and breast meat characteristics were not affected by the usage of sepiolite. Relative weight of the abdominal fat and ileal digesta viscosity were reduced and duodenal villus height, ileal digestibility of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein was increased with the usage of 1% sepiolite. It is concluded that dietary supplementation with 1% sepiolite was an effective feed additive for broiler feeding due to its beneficial effects on growth performance, abdominal fat percentage, ileal digesta viscosity, duodenal villus height and ileal digestibility.Öğe Severe Combined Immune Deficiency Due To Heterozygous Compound Mutation in Rag1 Gene(SPRINGER/PLENUM PUBLISHERS, 2014) Artac, H.; Ozdemir, H.; Ceylan, A.; Uygun, V.; Yesilipek, A.; Guner, S.; Reisli, I.[Abstract not Available]
