Ali; Irez, GaziThis investigation describes the synthesis of amphi- and anti-isomers of 1,2-bis(aminoglyoxime)ethane dihydrochloride (EGBH(2).2HCl) and amphi-isomers of 1,3-bis(aminoglyoxime)propane dihydrochloride (PBGH(2).2HCl). The preparation of NI(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes of the amphi- and anti-isomers of these ligands are described. All these complexes are insoluble in common solvents. Structures are proposed based on elemental analyses, IR, and magnetic susceptibility measurements.
