Öğe BER analysis of SM-MIMO systems with MRC detectors over Weibull fading channels [MOB Algilayici Kullanan UM-ÇGÇÇ Sistemlerin Weibull Sönümlü Kanallarda BHO Analizi](Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2017) Canbilen A.E.; Gultekin S.S.; Develi I.In this study, bit error rate (BER) performances of 2×4 and 2×8 spatial modulation multiple input multiple output (SM-MIMO) systems over Weibull fading channels are investigated. Transmitted data and the transmitter antenna which conveys the data are estimated by using iterative maximum ratio combining algorithm at the receiver side. BER performance is obtained by changing the value of fading parameter and the level of modulation for several scenarios with computer simulations. While reducing the computational complexity of similar SM-MIMO system which uses maximum likelihood for the estimation procedure, it is obtained up to 13 dB better performance. © 2017 IEEE.Öğe Modeling congestion of vessel on rectangular microstrip antenna and evaluating electromagnetic signals(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2017) Top R.; Gultekin S.S.; Uzer D.According to researches, the most common diseases of unexpected death causes are related to heart. The one of basic reasons of heart diseases is congestion of heart vessel. To detect these failures, various solutions are produced and these solutions are continued. With the proposed study, the congestion of heart vessel related to heart disease is modelled on rectangular microstrip patch antenna and evaluations of electromagnetic field values are tried in situations while there is congestion and not congestion. In modelling, permittivity values of heart vessel and fat tissues are used, by selecting 2.45 GHz as operating frequency and FR-4 as substrate, simulations are realized in High Frequency Structural Simulator(HFSS). From obtained results, it has been shown that the congestion of heart vessel can be detected with electromagnetic data. © 2017 IEEE.
