Öğe ADDITION OF A NEW GENUS FROM TURKEY INTO LIST OF FUNGI(PAKISTAN BOTANICAL SOC, 2011) Alkan, Sinan; Kasik, Giyasettin; Aktas, SinanDuring the studies performed, a rare species known as decaying fungi was collected from Derebucak district (Konya) between 2005-2006, from altitude 1800 m. In the end of the laboratory process, this rare species was determined as Hydnocristella himantia (Schwein.) R. H. Petersen which grew particularly on died branches belonging to Abies species. The genus Hydnocristella R. H. Petersen is a new record for Turkish Mycota.Öğe EFFECT OF SOME PLANT OILS ON MYCELIAL GROWTH OF AGARICUS BISPORUS (LANGE) SING(PAKISTAN BOTANICAL SOC, 2013) Ozcan, Mehmet Musa; Kasik, Giyasettin; Ozturk, Celaleddin; Kalyoncu, I. Hakki; Eroglu, GonulThe levels of 10 mu l, 30 mu l and 50 mu l concentration of plant oils of apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.), melon (Cucumis melo L.), parsley (Petroselinum crispum (Miller) A. W. Hill), pine stone (Pinus pinea L.), plum (Prunus domestica L.) and watermelon (Citrullus lanatus (Thunb) Matsum et Nakai) which was grown in Turkey were used for mycelial growth of Agaricus bisporus on the agar medium. After nine days of incubation, the 10 mu l and 30 mu l concentrations of apricot oil were activated to varying degrees in stimulative the mycelial growth compared with the control group. In addition, all concentrations of parsley completely showed inhibitory effect against mycelial growth. This study suggests that the data can be used as natural stimulating agents on the mycelial growth of mushroom of apricot and plum kernel oils.Öğe Four new records for Physarales from Turkey(TUBITAK SCIENTIFIC & TECHNICAL RESEARCH COUNCIL TURKEY, 2012) Demirel, Gonul; Kasik, GiyasettinPhysarum didermoides (Pers.)
