The study group totally consisted of 65 children including 22 ones (game) for the experimental group 1, 22 ones (movement) for the experimental group 2 and 21 ones for the control group, who went to the kindergarten in this study process. The experimental model with pretest and final test control groups was used in the research. A 12-week education was given to the children in the experimental group 1 and the experimental group 2 for 45 minutes during two days on average, but the control group was not given any education. Skills determined in education given to the children were presented to the game group with an education programme based on game whereas these were given to the movement group with an education programme based on movement. The childrens large muscle skills were evaluated by the Measurement Test for Large Muscle Skills (BÜKBÖT). BÜKBÖT regarded the childrens large muscle skills as the overall point, their locomotor skills and object control skills as the subtest point. As a consequence, it was found that the applications regarding the Large Muscle Skill-Education Programs Based on Game and Movement developed children aged 4-5 in a positive way but the Large Muscle Skill-Education Program Based on Game was more effective on children in this age group.Öğe The effect of tmpt program on pre-school children's social problem solving skills(ANI YAYINCILIK, 2018) Gur, Cagla; Kocak, NurcanPurpose: Starting Thinking Training at an early age is important. However, few studies were found regarding Thinking Training programs for pre-school children and the contributions of these programs to children's social problem-solving. In this context, the TMPT Program was developed for pre-school children and the effect of the program on 5-6 year-old children's social problem-solving skills was examined. Research Methods: The data of the study were obtained from a total of 70 children, including 32 in the experiment group and 38 in the control group. Thirty-two of the children in the study group were girls and 38 were boys. An experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group was used. Within the scope of the study the Thinking from Multidimensional Perspectives Training Program was implemented in the experimental group. Through the TMPT Program, the following steps were examined: self-recognition, recognizing the other, recognition of the third one, group perspective, and social and universal perspective. The Wally Social Problem-Solving Test was used to determine if there was a difference between pre-test and post-test scores. Independent t-test was used to determine if there was a difference between experiment and control groups in terms of their pre-test and post-test scores (0.05 was determined as the significance level). Findings: The results revealed that the TMPT Program has a positive effect on 5-6 year-old pre-school children's social problem-solving skills. Implications for Research and Practice: Depending on the findings of the study, it is thought that training programs developed to support 5-6-year-old children's social problem-solving skills should include Thinking Training activities within their contents. In accordance with the positive feedback from these teachers in terms of their applications in their classrooms, the training is generalized in 19 districts of Ankara. As part of this project, 19 teachers who attended previous trainings were trained as formatter teachers. These formatter teachers educated teachers within the districts. These teachers in the districts applied the program in their classrooms during the education process. The purpose of the present study was to gain information about the results that might come up regarding the ideas of the teachers who were trained by the formatters when they applied the Program of Education of Values in their classrooms. In the present study, 237 teachers were asked to evaluate the training they had via the Project Evaluation Form after completing the training regarding the Education of Values. From the pool of these 237 teachers, 88 of these forms were completed and returned to the researchers, so that the opinions of the teachers' trainings given by formatters were evaluated depending on these forms. Considering the training they had and the program applied, the Teacher Evaluation and Personal Information Forms developed by the researchers, were the tools used to collect the data. In the present study the teachers generally stated positive opinions, and considered the program useful even when it is extended and taught not only by teachers but also by the formatters.
