Öğe SULEYMAN FIKRI ERTEN'S BOOK NAMED 'ILM-I BELAGATDAN BEYAN VE BEDI' HULASASI(SELCUK UNIV, FAC LETTERS, 2015) Kunt, Ibrahim; Kunul, BaharSuleyman Fikri Erten was born in Bosnia in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. He was educated in Istanbul and then he was teacher in Antalya and Lazkiye at this turbulent period. He was appointed by the Ottoman Empire in order to prevent the evasion of historical artifacts by Italians when Italians occupied Antalya. Between the years of 1921-1941, he was the director of Antalya Museum. Due to his age, he retired in 1941. Suleyman Fikri Erten who knows Croatian, Serbian, German, Turkish, Arabic and Esperanto, produced many works throughout his life. One of these works is named " 'Ilm-i Belagatdan Beyan ve Bedi' Hulasasi". He wrote this book for teaching Turkish spelling and writing rules to students when appointed to Antalya Greek Girls' School. In this work, he briefly mentioned figures of speech and gave examples of verse and prose on figures of speech. In this article, Suleyman Fikri Erten's life and works have been studied. " 'Ilm-i Belagatdan Beyan ve Bedi' Hulasasi " was transferred to today's letters. The meanings of Arabic and Persian phrases and couplets are given. We signified in square brackets who wrote these couplets. There are some typos in the text. In order to fix the typos, we added words or affixes signified in square brackets and in some places there were no changes. When we were prepearing the text, we didn't use the transcription alphabet, but xi (ayn) is showed with (') and (sic) (hemze) is showed with (').Öğe VELED CELEBI'S WORK NAMED HAYRU'L-KELAM(SELCUK UNIV, FAC LETTERS, 2016) Kunt, Ibrahim; Sen, Mehmet EminWalad Chalabi Izbudak who was born in Konya in 1869 and died in Ankara in 1950, was a Turkish Langauge researcher, parliamentary, poet and last period representatives of Mavlawiyah. He performed both postnishin (head of mavlawi dervishes) in Konya Mawlana Dergah (Dervish Convent) and Yozgat and Kastamonu Parliamentary for 20 years in Turkish Grant National Assembly. He had close relations with Ataturk; he was supported by Ataturk for his works. Hayru'l-Kelam is the first written work of Walad Chalabi. Its subject is testament explanation of Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi. Nearly one page testament of Mawlana in Arabic was explained by Walad Chalabi Izbudak word by word, sentence by sentence and at last 40 pages Hayru'l-Kelm work was composed. In this declaration, work of Walad Chalabi Izbudak in title of 'Hayru'l-Kelam' will be explained in its general lines. In fact, there are some hand-writing copies of work, but the text published by Istanbul Necm-i Istikbal Print house in 1330 will be the basis for this research. Arising from suggestions at the work, verses and hadiths that were mentioned for explanations and famous poems will be set forth and knowledge of Walad Chalabi Izbudak at his youth period will be tried to be set forth.
