It has a greater impact on organizations' interaction beyond the geographical proximities. Social media tools allow businesses to interact with their customers and other interest groups. Similarly, online comments on social media about firms and their services and products have an immense effect on the success of the business. The aim of this research was to determine the moderating role of online comments on the relationship between social media usage and business management practices. For this purpose, a quantitative study was employed in the machinery manufacturing sector in Konya, Turkey. Survey technique was employed to collect data. Data were analysed with a total of 402 valid responses to test the proposed hypotheses and theoretical model by using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) path analysis techniques. Findings of this research indicate that social media usage has an impact on business management practices in terms of planning, empowerment, leading, human resources, and decision making. Thus, social media has become an important tool, and management by social media is a new paradigm for business management. So, business practitioners should consider social media a new management tool and incorporate it into their management practices.
