Öğe Determination of the effects of microbial and phosphorus fertilizer applications on yield and phosphorus acquisition of central anatolian wheat cultivars(Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, 2021) Santos, Pamela Aracena; Hakkı, Erdoğan EşrefResearch has shown that plants have developed two general strategies for dealing with soil conditions with low phosphorus (P) content: Strategy 1 - focuses on improving or preserving P use, while Strategy 2 - aims to increase P uptake. This study was carried out in 2 stages, under greenhouse and field conditions. In the greenhouse experiment where 12 bread wheat varieties grown widely in the Central Anatolia Region were used as a material, the effects of phosphorus (0 and 50 mg P kg-1) and microbial applications (BAC, AMF and BAC + AMF) were examined in order to determine the Phosphorus Acquisition Efficiency (PAE) of the cultivars. Field trials were conducted with Tosunbey with the highest PAE (24.9%) and Bayraktar 2000 with the lowest PAE (7.8%). In the field trial, the effect of phosphorus applications (0, 20, 40, and 80 kg P2O5 ha-1) on grain yield (Tosunbey and Bayraktar 2000: p<0.01), protein content (Tosunbey: p<0.01, Bayraktar 2000: p<0.05), BDA, MDA, K, Mg, B, Mn contents of plant leaves, and grain Mg, Fe, and Mn contents were found to be statistically significant in the high and low PAE cultivars. The effects of microbial applications (BAC, AMF and BAC + AMF) on plant height, grain yield (Tosunbey and Bayraktar 2000: p<0.01), protein content (Tosunbey and Bayraktar 2000: p<0.01), Mg, B, Cu and Zn contents of plant leaves, and grain Mn content of the cultivars were found to be statistically significant. In addition, the effects of microbial applications with phosphorus on the B and Zn content of the leaves and the K content of the grain were found to be statistically significant. As a result, we recommend applying 20 kg P2O5 ha-1 together with BAC, or 20 kg P2O5 ha-1 together with BAC + AMF in Bayraktar 2000 which has low PAE, and 40 kg P2O5 ha-1 together with BAC, or 40 kg P2O5 ha-1 together with BAC + AMF in Tosunbey which has high PAE, in order to increase grain yield and quality.
