    Adana ve Mersin Yöresi makrofungus çeşitliliğine katkılar

    Bu çalışmada 2006-2008 yılları arasında Adana ve Mersin illerinden toplanan mantar örneklerinin teşhisi amaçlanmıştır. Arazi ve laboratuvar çalışmaları sonrasında 24 familya ve 2 bölüme ait 38 takson teşhis edilmiştir. Bu taksonlardan 5’i Ascomycota bölümündeyken 33’ü Basidiomycota bölümündedir. Ayrıca, Adana ilinden 20 takson belirlenirken, Mersin ilinden 22 takson belirlenmiştir.

    A Comparative fatty acid compositional analysis of different wild species of mushrooms from Turkey

    Mushrooms have been recognized as important food items due to their high nutritional and medicinal value. The present work quantifies and compares the fatty acids composition among eleven mushroom species (Auricularia auricular-judae, Collybia dryophila, Rammulina ve/utipes, Helvella lacunose, Polyporus squamosus, Rhizopogon roseolus, Russula albonigra, Russula delica, Sparassis crispa, collinitus and Volvariella gloiocephala) harvested from Turkey. The lipid contents of the mushrooms varied from 0.13% (Auricularla auricula-judae) to 2.90% (Sparassis crispa). A total of 14 fatty acids were identified and quantified by gas chromatography in the selected mushrooms species with linoleic (13.17 to 79.41%), oleic (0.71 to 55.07%) and palmitic (8.95 to 30.84%) acids as the major components in the tested mushrooms species. The amount of total saturated fatty acids (SFAs), total monounsaturated FAs (MUFAs) and total polyunsaturated FAs (PUFAs) ranged from 13.97 to 59.44%, 0.94 to 55.44% and 13.54 to 79.93%, respectively. Moreover, the mushrooms tested can be explored as a rich dietary source of essential fatty acids (13.34-79.76%) for human nutrition.

    Macrofungi of Burdur province

    In this study, an attempt has been made to determine macrofungal specimens collected from Burdur in 2006-2008. After field and laboratory studies, 35 taxa belonging to 17 families and 2 divisio were identified. 3 taxa belong to Ascomycota and 32 to Basidiomycota. Two of them; Inocybe maculipes J. Favre and Tricholoma portentosum var. lugdunense Bon. are new records forTurkey.

    Macrofungi of Osmaniye province

    The materials of this study comprise macrofungi specimens collected from different localities in Osmaniye Province in the years of 2006 and 2008. As a result of field and laboratory studies, 52 taxa under 25 families belonging to Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes classes are described: 2 of them; Hebeloma vejlense Vesterh and Lyophyllum fumosum (Pers.) P.D. Orton are new records for Turkey.
