Öğe Bi?tli?s Mezbahasında Kesi?len Keçi?lerde Pnömoni? Olguları Üzeri?nde Patoloji?k ve Bakteri?yoloji?k Çalışmalar(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 2001 Ocak) Yener, Zabid; Gürtürk, Kemal; Gülbahar, Yavuz; Solmaz, HasanIn this study, pathological and bacteriological examination of pneumonia in Goats slaughtered in Bitlis slaughterhouse were carried out. For this purpose, a total of 1505 lungs were examined and in 74 (4,91%) lungs pneumonia was detected. Histopathologically, pneumonias were classified as follows; verminous pneumonia (43,2%), fibrinous bronchopneumonia (23%), interstitial pneumonia (17,6 %) and catarrhal-purulent bronchopneumonia (16,2%). Bacteriological examinations were performed on forty-two pneumonic lungs (except the verminous pneumonia) and various bacterial agents as pure or mix culture were isolated from 32 (76.2%) cases. These were Pasteurella haemolytica (38.09 %), Mycoplasma spp. (28.57%), Staphylococcus aureus (16.66%), Klebsiella pneumoniae (11.90%). Moraxella spp. (4.76 %) , Bacillus spp. (4.76 %) and Pasteurella multocida (2.38% ). In conclusion, the most common type of pneumonia found in Bitlis region was verminous pneumonia, and bacterial examinations showed Pasteurella haemolytica and Mycoplasma spp. were the most important causal agents in caprine pneumonia.Öğe Büyük Rumi?nantlarda Çeşi?tli? Apse Olgularının Bakteri?yolojiik I?ncelenmesi?(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 1994) Alkan, İsmail; Boynukara, Banur; Solmaz, Hasan; Şındak, NihatIn this study, 21 animals, ten of which were with omphalitis, were examined. Operation was done with Xylazin hydrochlorid (Rom- pun, BAYER) premedication together with local Citanest hydrochlorur (Citanest ASTRA). Samples taken pre and postoperation under sterile condition, were examined in Departmant of Bacteriyology. The results of bacteriological exemination showed that the isolated and identified bacteria were Str. pyogenes (28.5%), Staph. aureus (28.5%) and A. pyogenes (14.2%). The antibiogram test results indicated that chloramphenicol was effective on 33.3 % of tested strains. Animal were treated in accordance with the antibiogram tests.Öğe Ortodontik tedavinin dişeti sağlığına etkisi: Klinik ve mikrobiyolojik gözlemler(1999) Alptekin, Nilgün Özlem; Uçan, Uçkun Sait; Solmaz, Hasan; Erganiş, Osman; Erdemir, Olgun Ebru; Başçiftçi, Faruk AyhanBu araştırmanın amacı; 1) ortodontik 'tedavi gören, sabit aperey kullanan genç bireylerin subgingival plağında Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans (Aa) varlığını; 2) Aa ve klinik şartlar arasındaki olası ilişkiyi saptamaktır.12 kişi ortodontik aperey kullanırken (deney grubu), diğer 5 kişi kontrol olarak seçildi (kontrol grubu). Deney grubunda, Aa pozitif bölgelerin %5.6'sının %0.1 ile 1.0 arasında bulunduğu, oysaki %94.4'ünün % 1.0'den büyük oranda olduğu saptandıÖğe Tavukların Kolibasillozu İçin Escherichia Coli 01, 02 ve 078 Serotiplerinde Aşı Geliştirilmesi: Yumurtacı Tavuklar(2002) Erganiş, Osman; Hadimli, Hasan Hüseyin; Solmaz, HasanA trivalent Escherichia coli vaccine (TECA) was prepared from serotypes O1, O2 and O78 and one series of TECA was combined with an inactivated Newcastle Disease vaccine. TECA and combined vaccine were experimentally investigated for immunogenic effects in pullets and hens. This study was carried out at two stages consisting of rearing and laying periods: (1) A number of fourty chicks aged 15 days were subcutaneously vaccinated with 0.2 ml TECA . A similar group served as non-vaccinated controls. Half of the vaccinated group were revaccinated with 0.5 ml TECA at 71 days of age. The vaccinated and nonvaccinated pullets were challenged at 30 days after vaccinations. (2) Untreated breeder hens were vaccinated with TECA and combined vaccine by 0.5 ml, via SC route at 17 age of weeks. After vaccinations, the blood samples were taken from chicks/pullets with 15 days intervals and from the hens with 21 days intervals and then tested against 01, 02 ve 078 somatic "O" and pilus antigens by micro serum agglutination test (mSAT) and rapid agglutination test (RAT). The antibody titers in pullets vaccinated once or twice were found to be 0.5-3.6 times higher than controls, respectively. In breeder hens, the antibody titer figures were observed 1.5-4.8 times higher than those from nonvaccinated hens. By challange trials with homologous E. coli serotypes, the rates of protection in vaccinated and nonvaccinated pullets were found to be 77.8 and 46.7 %, respectively. The mortality rates of the chicks from the hens which had been vaccinated with TECA and combined vaccine or not been vaccinated were as follows: % 8.8, % 13.3 and % 50,3, respectively. In conclusion, TECA could be recommended for protection of both chicks and layers to E. coli infections. We also suggest that to comine inactivated E. coli with Newcastle vaccines could be useful.Öğe Tavukların Kolibasillozu İçin Escherichia coli 01, 02 ve 078 Serotiplerinden Aşı Geliştirilmesi: Yumurtacı Tavuklar(Scientific Technical Research Council Turkey, 2002) Erganiş, Osman; Hadimli, Hasan Hüseyin; Solmaz, HasanA trivalent Escherichia coli vaccine (TECA) was prepared from serotypes O1, O2 and O78 and one series of TECA was combined with an inactivated Newcastle Disease vaccine.
