    A new Fibonacci type collocation procedure for boundary value problems

    In this study, we present a new procedure for the numerical solution of boundary value problems. This approach is mainly founded on the Fibonacci polynomial expansions, the so-called pseudospectral methods with the collocation method. The applicability and effectiveness of our proposed approach is shown by some illustrative examples. Then, the results indicate that this method is very effective and highly promising for linear differential equations defined on any subinterval of the real domain. MSC: 35A25.

    On the discrete asymptotic stability conditions of perturbed linear discrete systems with periodic coefficients

    We study the discrete asymptotic stability conditions of the perturbed system of first-order linear difference equations with periodic coefficients under the assumption that the related unperturbed system is discrete asymptotically stable. These conditions are dependent on the perturbation matrix B(n) itself and a different parameter is given for obtaining some estimates for the solutions of the unperturbed system.

    The (s,t)-Generalized Jacobsthal Matrix Sequences

    In this study, we consider sequences named (s,t)-Jacobsthal, (s,t)-Jacobsthal-Lucas and defined generalized(s,t)-Jacobsthal integer sequences. After that, by using these sequences, we define generalized (s,t)-Jacobsthal matrix sequence in which it generalizes (s,t)-Jacobsthal matrix sequence, (s,t)-Jacobsthal-Lucas matrix sequence at the same time. Finally we investigate some properties of the sequence and present some important relationship among (s,t)-Jacobsthal matrix sequence, (s,t)-Jacobsthal-Lucas matrix sequence and generalized (s,t)-Jacobsthal matrix sequence.

    Topolojik uzaylarda süreklilik çeşitleri

    Bu tez çalışması üç kısımdan oluşmuştur. Birinci kısımda, çalışmamız için gerekli olan bilgileri verdik. Bu konuda, zayıf ve hemen hemen sürekliliklerle ilgili yapılmış olan çalışmaları kısaca özetledik ve bunları yorumlamaya çalıştık. X topolojik ve Y yarı düzgün bir uzay ise, f:X'den Y'ye fonksiyonu sürekli olduğunda , f fonksiyonuna hemen hemen sürekli fonksiyon, eğer Y düzgün uzay ve f sürekli ise, fonksiyona zayıf sürekli fonksiyon denir. Özellikle [8] de bu konu incelenmiş, zayıf sürekliliğin hemen hemen sürekliliği gerektirmesi için Y uzayının hemen hemen düzgün olduğu ispatlanmıştır. İkinci kısımda ise Husain'in tanımlamış olduğu ve süreklilikten daha zayıf olan bir süreklilik çeşidinin Y değer uzayına bazı şartların eklenmesiyle süreklilikle nasıl çakıştığını görüp, yorumlamaya çalıştık. Üçüncü kısımda da, gerek Frolik'in makalesinde gerekse M.Çiçeğin makalesinde olsun, fonksiyon sürekli veya semi-sürekli olduğunda, X uzayındaki Baire yapısının Y üzerine, Y uzayındaki Baire yapısının da X üzerine nasıl taşındığını, hangi şartlarda bunun gerçekleştiğini yorumlamaya çalıştık.

Daha sonra Baire uzayları üzerine Frolik Z. ve Çiçek M. tarafından elde edilen sonuçlar incelenerek yorumlanmıştır.
