Öğe Eruption of impacted permanent teeth after treatment of a dentigerous cyst: A case report(2013) Yücel O.; Yildirim G.; Tosun G.; Baka Z.M.; Göyenç Y.B.; Günhan O.Dentigerous cysts are the most common developmental odontogenic cysts. It is a benign and asymptomatic intraosseous lesion that affects the bones of the maxillofacial complex, interfering with tooth eruption. Although enucleation is the treatment of choice, marsupialization is the better option for large cysts involving unerupted permanent teeth. The purpose of this article is to report the eruption of impacted permanent mandibular right canine and first and second premolars after marsupialization of an infected dentigerous cyst. Two years after marsupialization and orthodontic treatment, the cyst disappeared and the canine and premolars erupted uneventfully.
