Öğe Determination of The Motor Development Levels of 9-10 Years Old Children(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 2020 Eylül) Tepe, Mustafa Gürker; Şahin, İbrahim; Kalebozan, TolgaThe aim of this research was to observe the level of motor development of a group of students aged 9-10. Ninety-three students (42 girls, 51 boys) from the TAF Mehmetcik Foundation Hafize İhsan Payaza Primary School have voluntarily attended the research from Çankaya District in Ankara, Turkey. The children who were in the experimental group had the subtests of Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2); Manipulative skills and object control skill tests and each of them was graded. For each activity of the tests, 1 point was given if the students were successful and 0 points if not. At the end of the grading of each trial, total grades ached for each activity. Total grades were calculated for each skill and the status was defined. The result of this study will be useful for the students who have completed the basic Movement period of Psycho-motor development phases and who are in the last phase of sportive Movements period of Specific activity skills aged 7-10 years to define their basic motor features and to be guided to the correct sport branches. On one hand, it is aimed to help develop the normative values for the Turkish children using the TGMD-2 which was adapted from the test which is widely used in scientific researches while on the other hand, the development of basic motor properties based on anthropometric characteristics will be able to observe.Öğe Selçuklu çağı seramik sanatında hayvan tasvirleri ve artistik formlarda yorumlanması(Selçuk Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, 2019) Şahin, İbrahim; Cebrailoğlu, OrhanBu araştırmada, Selçuklu çağı seramik sanatı uygulama alanında yer alan hayvan tasvirlerinin sosyal, düşünsel ve sanatsal açıdan değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Üslubun oluşumu, seramik yüzeylerde uygulanış şekilleri, sır özellikleri, gerçekçi ve stilize edilmiş fantastik hayvan tasvirleri incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Konu ile ilgili kaynaklar kütüphane araştırması yapılarak incelenmiştir. Görseller derlenmiş, görsellerin seçiminde süsleme konularının zenginliğini ve çeşitliliğini yansıtabilecek örnekler dikkate alınmış ve belirli bir yöntemle sıralanmıştır. Çalışmanın uygulama aşamasında, seramik sanatında görülen hayvan tasvirleri içerisinden çift başlı kartal motifi ele alınmış, konuyla bağlantılı olarak artistik formlarda yorumlanması çeşitli teknikler kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir.Öğe Seventh Graders’ Perceptions of Physical Education Courses(Selçuk Üniversitesi, 2018 Nisan) Koç, Mustafa; Şahin, İbrahimThis study aims at determining eighth graders’ views and thoughts of physical education courses in primary education schools through metaphors. The study group was composed of 58 students attending Altınşehir Primary Education school located in Adıyaman in the 2014-2015 academic year. The data were collected by asking each student to complete the sentence “physical education course is like……. because ……….”. In consequence, 24 metaphors created by 58 students were divided into four different categories – namely, (i) social development, (ii) physical development, (iii) psychological development, and (iv) mental development. The majority of the students (98.28%) were found to have created positive metaphors for the course while only 1.72% of them were found to have created negative metaphors.
