Öğe Identification of Specific Isomers of PCDD Contaminants in Environmental Soils Generated From the Incineration of Waste Cables and Their Quantitative-Analysis(MARCEL DEKKER INC, 1994) Pehlivan, Mustafa; Bedük, A. DinçerIn this study, a series of PCDDs emitted to the surrounding soil as the result of incineration of waste cables have been identified. PCDD contaminants were concentrated from soil samples and isolated from other materials by chromatographic methods. PCDD isomers were identified separately by column chromatography utilizing column packed with materials such as Kieselgel /44 vol.% H2SO4, Macro Alumina B Super 1, Mix Column, Bio Beads S-X 3, Alumina B Super 1 + Kieselgel/AgNO3 and their quantitative determinations were performed by GC/MS (gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy).Öğe Synthesis and Characterization. Of Complexes of Ni(Ii), Co(Ii), and Cu(Ii) With Four 4-Aminobenzoate Derivatives of Unsymmetrical Vic-Dioximes(Marcel Dekker Inc, 2002) Gup, Ramazan; Bedük, A. DinçerFour different 4-aminobenzoate derivates of vic-dioximes Were synthesized. Their transition metal complexes with Ni(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) were prepared with a metal-ligand ratio of 1:2. The unsymmetrical complexes are in the anti form. The ligands and complexes were characterized by a combination of H-1 NMR, IR and elemental analyses. The extraction abilities of these new vic-dioximes were examined by the liquid-liquid and solid-liquid extraction of selected alkali [Li(I), Na(I), K(I) and Cs(I)] and transition metal [Cd(II), Hg(II), Cu(II), Pb(II) and Ni(II)] ions.Öğe Synthesis and Extraction Properties of 1,2-bis(Amidoxime) Derivatives(Inst Organic Chem and Biochem, 2002) Güp, Ramazan; Alpoğuz, Hamza Korkmaz; Bedük, A. DinçerFour 1,2-bis(amidoxime)s bearing benzoate groups were synthesized. Their complexing properties were studied by the liquid-liquid extraction of selected alkali (Na+ and K+) and transition metals (Hg2+, Cu2+, Pb2+ and Ni2+). It has been observed that all ligands show a high affinity to Cu2+ and Hg2+ ions, whereas almost no affinity to alkali metals.Öğe The Synthesis and Ni(Ii), Co(Ii) and Cu(Ii) Complexes of Three New Unsymmetrical Vic-Dioximes(MARCEL DEKKER INC, 1995) Deveci, M. All; Irez, Gazi; Mercimek, Bedrettin; Bedük, A. Dinçer; Sarıkavaklı, NursabahThe reaction of anti-chlorophenylglyoxime with suitable alkylamines in ethanol-water at 0 degrees C gives the unsymmetrical vic-dioximes, namely, N-ethylaminophenylglyoxime (L(1)H(2)), N-propylaminoglyoxime (L(2)H(2)) and N-butylaminoglyoxime (L(3)H(2)). The Ni(li) and Cu(II) complexes of these ligands are square-planar while the Co(II) complexes are octahedral with water molecules as axial ligands. The structures of these complexes are proposed based on elemental analyses, IR and magnetic susceptibility measurements.Öğe The Synthesis and Ni(II), Co(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) Complexes of Two Novel Tetraoximes(1995) Mercimek, Bedrettin; İrez, Gazi; Deveci, M. Ali; Bedük, A. Dinçer; Sankavakh, Nursabah; Uçan, H. İsmetIn this study, two novel tetraoximes were synthesized by reacting anti-chlorogly-oxime with sym-bis(p-aminophenyl)oxamidine and sym-bis-4-(4‘-aminobiphnyl)oxamidine. Polynuclear complexes with Ni(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) and binuclear complexes with Zn(II) and Cd(II) of these tetraoximes were isolated. All these complexes are insoluble in common solvents; structures are proposed according to elemental analysis, i.r., and magnetic susceptibility measurements. © 1995, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
