Öğe THE APPLICABILITY OF THE MODEL THREE DIMENSIONAL SURVEYING FOR THE PROTECTION OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE: AN EXAMPLE OF PROVINCE OF KONYA SILLE(STEF92 TECHNOLOGY LTD, 2012) Sercan, Bulbul; Ceren, AvciAdvancing technology, rapid urbanization and increasing population makes it obligatory for the establishment of large numbers of people in a narrow space, thus it is increasing requirements for high buildings. Two dimensional cadastre is not sufficient as base map, therefore 3b cadastre is needed. For Updating the current situation in terms of archeology, history and natural areas that are important to ensure the protection of the building and to prevent illegal buildings also to ensure a true representation of historic structures three-dimensional cadastre is made. With Tree- dimensional cadastre of facilities that are important culturally to protect these structures is provided by showing deterioration. Sille is an ancient Greek Village, which has located in 8 km north-west of Konya province. Greek, which has mentioned here, is belong to Rome. Nowadays, Sille is a district that connected to the Selcuk municipality of Konya. Archeological data shows that the campus was established 6000 years ago. Sille is an important religious center, because Sille has located on the road of Rome, Byzantium and Jerusalem. Nowadays, there have been four churches in the area that belongs to Christian architecture. Although the original structure of village has damaged in recent years, the village and its environment are considered to be site area and are taken under protection. This study is made with updates status in the region, which has got historical importance in terms of archeological to ensure the protection of the natural structure, to prevent illegal building activity and historical buildings of the property to provide 3-dimensional impression.Öğe CONSTITUTE WORKING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF URBAN INFORMATION SYSTEM OF OSMANIYE AND AN OVERVIEW OF THESE SYSTEMS(STEF92 TECHNOLOGY LTD, 2012) Savas, Durduran S.; Ceren, AvciThe problems caused by today's rapid urbanization have become significant in the management of cities and metropolitan areas. With the effect of technological advancements and industrialization, problems related with management, planning, engineering and natural resources are increasingly becoming hazardous especially for those living in cities and city management is to be handled based on information system. Therefore, it is compulsory to use Urban Information Systems (UIS) to manage cities better and make optimal use of information. In Turkey where UIS development works are carried out rapidly, Local administrations simultaneously carry out studies to form Municipality Management Information System and Urban Information System. MIS (Management Information System) database which was previously kept only as automation of registry is integrated with the Urban Information System by relating it with geographical information. In Turkey, for the integration and use MERNIS (Central Demographic Information System), TAKBIS (Land Registry Cadastres Information System) and National Address Information System projects in UIS studies, municipalities need spatial base map. The production and updating of these base maps which are used in Urban Information System studies is a must. The compulsion to form "UIS" stated in Municipal Law gave acceleration to the development of this system in municipalities. Within this scope, problems encountered in UISs emerged in Turkey. In this study, the workings of Osmaniye Municipality has made so far to develop Management Information System and Urban Information System and their aims and the problems encountered in this process are discussed and presented.Öğe SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS OF SPATIAL DATA: THE CASE OF KONYA(STEF92 TECHNOLOGY LTD, 2012) Savas, Durduran S.; Ceren, AvciDevelopment and transformation processes towards the future knowledge society, central institutions, organizations and local government need to have in collaboration with each other to give best social utility. In data sharing between organizations, each institution makes spatial data for their own and don't want to give their knowledge to other, so it cause organizational and political complexity. To examine efficiently spatial data sharing between the institutions, social network analysis is used. In this study, data exchange, the institution of cooperation and relationship of obtaining information about public and private institution that studying with spatial data, determined with the numerical and visual analysis in Konya. As a result, relations between the institutions that work with spatial data, social network analysis, evaluating the invisible network of social relations have been determined.
