Hüsnü CanThe essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation from two endemic Centaurea L. species (Asteraceae); Centaurea sericeae Wagenitz and Centaurea ensiformis P.H. Davis from Turkey was analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS), simultaneously. Caryophyllene oxide (10.6 %), nonacosane (8.6 %) and hexadecanoic acid (7 %) were the main constituents in the oil of C. sericeae and ?-eudesmol (29.8 %), hexadecanoic acid (8 %) and caryophyllene oxide (7.6 %) were the main constituents in the oil of C. ensiformis.Öğe Derebucak (Konya), İbradı-Cevizli (Antalya) Arasında Kalan Bölgenin Endemik Bitkileri ve Tehlike Kategorileri(Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi, 2009) Demiralma, Hakkı; Ertuğrul, KuddusiBu arastırma 2001-2005 yılları arasında yapılan arazi çalısmalarında, 2081 bitki örnegi toplanmıs olup, 96 familya ve 441 cinse ait 960 takson tespit edilmistir. Bu taksonların 167’si endemik olup, endemizm oranı % 17.3’tür. Alanda en fazla endemik takson içeren familyalar sırasıyla sunlardır; Labiatae 30 takson (%18), Compositae 17 takson (%10.2), Caryophyllaceae 16 takson (%9.6) ve Liliaceae 15 taksondur (%9). Çalısma alanında yayılıs gösteren endemik türlerin tehlike kategorileri su sekildedir; 6 takson CR, 15 takson EN, 10 takson VU, 23 takson NT, 113 takson LC’ dir.Öğe Essential Oil Composition of Two Endemic Centaurea Species From Turkey, Centaurea Mucronifera and Centaurea Chrysantha, Collected in the Same Habitat(Pergamon-Elsevier Science Ltd, 2003) Dural, Hüseyin; Bağcı, Yavuz; Ertuğrul, Kuddusi; Demirelma, Hakkı; Flamini, Guido; Cioni, Pier Luigi; Morelli, IvanoThe essential oils of two endemic Centaurea species from Turkey, C. mucronifera and C. chrysantha, collected in the same habitat, have been studied. The main compounds of the former were germacrene D (29.3%), beta-eudesmol (17.4%) and beta-caryophyllene (7.3%), while in the latter germacrene D (27.4%), caryophyllene oxide (9.5%) and bicyclogermacrene (5.4%) were detected among its major constituents. The two species produced many similar compounds in their essential oils that could be justified by the similar ecological conditions of their habitat, but also many differences were found that could confirm their taxonomic separation. Decumbens From Turkey(Wiley, 2003) Ertuğrul, Kuddusi; Dural, Hüseyin; Tugay, Osman; Flamini, Guido; Cioni, Pier Luigi; Morelli, IvanaThe compositions of the essential oils obtained from. fresh capitula of Centaurea kotschyi var. kotschyi and Centaurea kotschyi var. decumbens, two endemic plants from Turkey, have been studied. Sesquiterpenes were the main components of both essential oils, with germacrene D (44.2%), beta-caryophyllene (12.1%) and bicyclogermacrene (5.5%) in C. kotschyi var. kotschyi and germacrene D (29.4%), beta-caryophyllene (11.2%), beta-cedrene (7.1%) in C. kotschyi var. decumbens as the principal components. The qualitative and quantitative differences between the two essential oils are in agreement with,the morphological observation that led to the differentiation of the two varieties. Morfolojik araştırmada, detaylı incelenen C. glastifolia ve C. pterocaula taksonlarının betimleri yeniden hazırlandı. Karyolojik araştırmada, taksonlara ait tohumlar araziden toplandıktan sonra, çimlendirildi ve kök uçlarında ezme metoduyla kromozomlar gözlendi. Six of them are new. One of the other three reports is a confirmation of polyploidy, another report is a confirmation of chromosome count and the last report is a confirmation of both chromosome count and karyotype morphology. (Leguminosae) türlerinin tohum depo protein profilleri SDS-PAGE yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. V. cracca L. subsp. stenophylla Vel., V. canescens Lab. subsp. gregaria (Boiss.&Heldr.) P.H.Davis, V. caesarea Boiss.&Bal., V. ervilia (L.) VVİlId., V. peregrina L., V. sativa L. subsp. nigra (L.) Ehrh. var. nigra, V. narbonensis L. var. narbonensis, V. galilaea Plitm.&Zoh. ve V. faba L. türleri arasındaki genetik uzaklıklar SDS-PAGE yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. V. narbonensis var. narbonensis ve V. galilaea türleri Davis’in Türkiye Florası’ndaki gibi birbirine oldukça yakın bulunurken aynı grupta yer alan V. canescens subsp. gregaria ve V. caesarea diğer Vicia türlerine oldukça uzak bulunmuştur. Protein profili Vicia türlerinin sınıflandırılmasında morfolojik incelemelere ilave olarak faydalı bulunmuştur.Öğe Staphylococcus aureus ve Staphylococcus intermedius suslarının REP-PZR metodu ile tiplendirilmesi(Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi, 2009) Arslan, Emine; Ertuğrul, Kuddusi; Albayrak, Ali İhsanMastitis sütçülük isletmelerinde giderlerin artması ve süt veriminin azalması gibi sonuçlara yol açarak önemli ekonomik kayıplara sebep olan yangısal bir bozukluktur. Staphylococcus aureus, mastitise sebep olan etken organizmalar arasında ilk sırada yer almaktadır. Bu çalısmada Konya Bölgesi’ndeki mastitisli ineklerden izole edilen 43 S. aureus 6 S. intermedius susunun akrabalık derecelerinin REP-PZR yöntemi ile belirlenmesi amaçlanmıstır. REP-PZR sonucunda 500-~3000 bp büyüklüklerinde ve 2-6 arasında degisen sayılarda bantlar gözlemlenmistir. Bu REP profillerinden elde edilen dendrograma göre S. aureus ve S. intermedius susları arasındaki en yüksek akrabalık derecesi %82 oranında oldugu belirlenmistir.Öğe Volatile Constituents of Two Endemic Centaurea Species From Turkey: C.
