| dc.description.abstract | Ev kavrami, kuskusuz toplum psikolojisi ve insan ruhu ile derinden iliskilidir. Paylasilan hayat biçimi, dünya görüsü ve ortak olarak kabul edilen bina modeli, yerlesim dokusu vernaküler ev tiplerini bünyesinde olusturan kültürlerin ortak paydalaridir. Gelenekler ne kadar sürdürülebilirse, paylasilan ve kabul edilen bu imgeler düzgün isleyerek çalisabilirler. Gelenek olmadan kabul edilen normlara güven ve baglilik kalmaz. Geleneksel ev kavrami tarihsel süreç içerisinde birçok asamalar geçirmis ve kültürel etkilesimlerin de neticesinde degiserek farklilasmistir. Bu baglamda tarihten izler tasiyan, köklü bir geçmisi ve gelenekleri olan Türk Evini ve geleneksel Çin Evini ele almak, ikisinin de dogu kültürü ve Orta Asya kökenli olmasindan dolayi oldukça çarpici olmustur. Her iki geleneksel ev tipi de dogal- fiziksel ve sosyo- kültürel faktörler açisindan ele alinmis ve plan tipolojileri, mekan kurgulari olarak karakteristik özellikleri ayri ayri ele alinarak incelenmistir. Türk Evinin ?öteki? ekseninde geleneksel Çin Eviyle karsilastirilmasi yapilarak, elde edilen bulgular isiginda sonuçlari ortaya koyarak yorumlamalara gidilmistir. Yapilan bu çalisma ile elde edilmek istenen ne farkli kültürleri yaristirmak ne de birini digerinin üzerine çikarmaktir. Esas amaçlanan Türk Evini farkli bir perspektiften gözlemlemek, daha disaridan bir bakis açisi ile almak, farkli kültürlere sahip olan iki toplumun kültürel özelliklerini geleneksel evlere nasil yansittiklarini irdelemek ve böylelikle yeni bir tartisma ortami olusturmaya çalismaktir. Orta Asya merkezli bir kültüre sahip olmamiz, yüzyillar boyunca Çin ile yogun bir iliski ve etkilesim içinde bulunmamiz ise tezin ana semasinin kurgulanmasinda ve ?öteki?nin belirlenmesinde etkili olmustur. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The house concept is certainly related with the public psychology and human soul. The shared life style, general philosophy of life and commonly accepted construction model are the common parts of the cultures whose residing texture includes the vernacular house types. These shared and accepted images can work properly in the case when the traditions are continued. No reliance and dependence occur for the norms accepted out of tradition. The concept of traditional house has experienced many stages during the historical time and differentiated also as a result of cultural interactions. Therefore, researching the traditional Chinese House and the Turkish House having historical trails, traditions and a rooted past became rather impressive due to their relation with the Middle Asia?s Eastern Culture. Both of the house types were taken into consideration in terms of natural-physical and socio-cultural factors, and their characteristics were separately examined considering their plan typologies and space designs. Comparing the Turkish House at ?the other? axis with the traditional Chinese House, there were made interpretations in the light of findings after presenting the results. The purpose of the thesis was not to make competition between different cultures and not to prove one culture?s superiority on the other but to investigate the Turkish House from a different perspective and to study how the mentioned nations of two different cultures have reflected their cultural characteristics to their traditional houses, and by the way to form a new discussion subject. Turkish culture having dense relationships and interactions with China throughout the centuries and being a Middle Asia centered culture became effective in designing the main scheme of the thesis and determining ?the other?. | en_US |
