Özet
Panik atak (PA) ve panik bozukluğu (PB) bilişsel süreçlerle bedensel belirtilerin etkileşim halinde olduğu psikiyatrik durumlardır. Bu iki durum bilişsel hata düzeyleri açısından henüz araştırılmamıştır. Biz bu çalışmada PA, PB ve sağlıklı kontrol gruplarının bilişsel hata düzeylerini karşılaştırmayı amaçladık. Bulgularımız bilişsel hata düzeyinin PB’de en yüksek seviyede olduğunu, onu da PA ve kontrol gruplarının takip ettiğini göstermektedir. Burdan yola çıkılarak bilişsel davranışçı yaklaşımların PB’deki bilişsel hatalar üzerine odaklanarak iyileşmeye katkısı olabileceği düşünülmüştür.
Panic attack (PA) and panic disorder (PD) are psychiatric conditions in which cognitive processes and somatic symptoms interact. These two conditions have not yet been investigated in terms of cognitive error levels. In this study, we aimed to compare the cognitive error levels of the PA, PD, and healthy control groups. Our findings indicate that the cognitive error level is the highest in PD, followed by the PA and control groups. Based on this, it is thought that cognitive behavioral approaches can contribute to improvement by focusing on cognitive errors in PD.
