Badminton Sporcularının Kararlılık ve Problem Çözme Becerilerinin Çeşitli Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi

Özet
Araştırma badminton sporcularının kararlılık ve problem çözme becerilerinin cinsiyet, yaş,
spor yaşı, haftalık antrenman sayısı, millilik durumu, öğrenim durumu ve kategoriye göre incelemek
amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Çalışmamıza 13-29 yaş aralığında Türkiye’deki badminton sporu yapan ve basit tesadüfü
yöntemlerle seçilmiş 110’u kadın, 90’ı erkek olmak üzere 200 sporcu katılmıştır. Bu araştırmada, veri
toplama aracı olarak Heppner ve Peterson (1982) tarafından geliştirilen” Problem Çözme Envanteri’’
Duckworth ve Quinn (2009) tarafından geliştirilen ‘’Revize Edilmiş Kararlılık Ölçeği’’ yer
almaktadır. Diğer bir veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmaya katılacak badminton sporcularından
demografik bilgilerinin tespiti için araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan Kişisel Bilgi Formu
kullanılmıştır.
Verilerin analizinde SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Normallik analizinde skewness
ve kurtosis değerlerine bakılmıştır. Verilerin güvenirliğini ölçmek için Croncbach Alpha yöntemi
kullanılmıştır. İkili karşılaştırmalarda t testi (Independent Samples T-Test) tekniğinden yararlanılmış;
çoklu karşılaştırmalarda ise tek yönlü varyans analizi (One-Way Anova) tekniği kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca
grup içi farkların tespitinde yapılan homojenlik durumuna göre Tukey HSD, Games-Howell
kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca Problem çözme ve kararlılık düzeylerinin arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmek
amacıyla Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır. Bütün istatistiksel
değerlendirmelerde anlamlılık(p) düzeyi 0,05 olarak kabul edildi.
Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda problem çözme becerisinde spor yaşı faktörüne bağlı 1-5yıl
ile 6-10,1-5 yıl ile 11-15 yıl arasında anlamlılık vardır. Haftalık antrenman sayısı faktörüne bağlı
kararlılıkta 4-6 kez ile 10 kez ve üzerinde anlamlılık vardır. Millilik durumu, Öğrenim durumuna göre
problem çözme ve kararlılıkta istatistiksel olarak anlamlılık bulunmuştur. Cinsiyet, yaş ve kategoriye
göre problem çözme ve kararlılıkta istatistiksel olarak anlamlılık bulunmamıştır. Kararlılık ve alt
boyutlarından elde edilen puanların Problem çözme ve alt boyutlarından elde edilen puanlar arasında
istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmadığı saptanmıştır.
Sonuç olarak badminton sporcularının çeşitli değişkenleri değerlendirilerek kararlılık ve problem
çözme becerileri üzerindeki etkileri sporcuların performansını etkilemektedir. Spor yaşı, haftalık
antrenman sayısı ve öğrenim durumu düzeyleri üzerinde iyi planlamalara yaparak sporcuların
gelişimini olumlu yönde ilerleme sağlayabilir.
The research was carried out to examine the determination and problem solving skills of badminton athletes according to gender, age, sports age, workout per week, nationality, education level and category. 200 athletes, 110 female and 90 male, between the ages of 13-29, who play badminton in Turkey and were selected by simple random methods, participated in our study. In this research, "Problem Solving Inventory" developed by Heppner and Peterson (1982) and " The Short Grit Scale" developed by Duckworth and Quinn (2009) are used as data collection tools. As another data collection tool, the Personal Information Form created by the researcher was used to determine the demographic information of the badminton players who will participate in the research. SPSS 22.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. In the analysis of normality, skewness and kurtosis values were checked. The Croncbach Alpha method was used to measure the reliability of the data. The t-test (Independent Samples T-Test) technique was used in pairwise comparisons; In multiple comparisons, one-way analysis of variance (One-Way Anova) technique was used. In addition, Tukey HSD, Games-Howell were used according to the homogeneity status in determining the in-group differences. In addition, Pearson Correlation Coefficient technique was used to determine the relationship between problem solving and stability levels. The level of significance (p) was accepted as 0.05 in all statistical evaluations. As a result of the findings, there is a significant difference between 1-5 years, 6-10, 1-5 years and 11-15 years depending on the age factor of sports in problem solving skills. There is a significance between 4-6 times and 10 times and above in the determination depending on the number of weekly trainings factor. Statistically significant was found in problem solving and determination according to nationality status, education status. No statistically significant difference was found in problem solving and determination according to gender, age and category. It was determined that there was no statistically significant relationship between the scores obtained from the stability and sub-dimensions, and the scores obtained from the problem solving and sub-dimensions. As a result, various variables of badminton athletes are evaluated and their effects on determination and problem-solving skills affect the performance of athletes. By making good plans on the age of sports, workout per week and the level of education, the development of the athletes can make a positive progress.
