Spor Eğitimi Veren Üniversite Yöneticilerinin Kişilik Özellikleri, Öz Yeterlik İnançları ve Spora Yönelik Tutumları Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Özet
Bu araştırma Türkiye genelinde spor eğitimi veren Beden Eğitimi Spor Yüksek Okulları ve Spor
Bilimleri Fakültelerinde görev yapmış ve yapmakta olan yöneticilerin kişilik özellikleri, öz yeterlik inançları
ve spora karşı tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla ele alınmıştır. Araştırmaya 27 kadın
yönetici, 154 erkek yönetici katılım göstermiştir. Verilerin elde edilmesinde sosyo-demografik bilgiler için;
kişisel bilgi formu, öz yeterlik inancı inançlarını belirlemek amacıyla Yıldırım ve İlhan (2010) tarafından
geliştirilen ve 17 maddeden oluşan “Genel Öz Yeterlik İnancı Ölçeği”, Costa ve McCrae (2008) tarafından
geliştirilmiş ve John ve Srivastava (1999) tarafından faktör analizleri sonucunda 44 maddeye düşürülen Beş
Faktör Kişilik Ölçeği, 42 madde kullanılarak uygulanmıştır; “nevrotiklik”, “uyumluluk”, “deneyime açıklık”
“dışadönüklük” ve “sorumluluk” olmak üzere beş farklı boyuttan oluşan Beş faktör kişilik envanteri ve
Şentürk (2012) tarafından geliştirilen Spora Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (SYTÖ), bireylerin spora yönelik
tutumlarını belirlemektedir. 25 maddeden oluşan Spora Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği “spora ilgi duyma”, “sporla
yaşama” ve “aktif spor yapma” olarak üç alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır.
Cinsiyet, Akademik ve İdari yöneticilik, Yöneticilik süresi ve toplam görev süresi faktörlerine bağlı
olarak Beş faktör kişilik boyut ortalamaları arasında istatistiki bir değişim gözlenmezken (tablo 1,5,7,9),
bekar yöneticilerin evli yöneticilere nazaran tüm boyutlarda istatistiki açıdan daha yüksek ortalama değere
sahip olduğu, Dışa Dönüklük, Açıklık boyutları ve Genel ortalama değerleri arasındaki değişimin istatistiki
olarak anlamlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir (tablo 3; p<0.05). Cinsiyet, Medeni Durum, Akademik ve İdari
Görev, Görev Yılı, İdarecilik Yılı faktörlerine bağlı olarak Öz Yeterlik ortalama değerleri arasındaki
değişimin istatistiki olarak anlamlı olmadığı belirlenmiştir (tablo 2,4,6,8,10). Cinsiyet, Medeni Durum,
Akademik ve İdari Görev, İdarecilik Yılı faktörlerine bağlı olarak Spora Karşı Tutum ortalama değerleri
arasındaki değişimin istatistiki olarak anlam teşkil etmediği (tablo 2,4,6,10), yöneticilerin görev yılı
faktörüne bağlı olarak Aktif sporculuk boyutundaki değişimin istatistiki olarak anlamlı olduğu (p<0.05),
diğer boyutlardaki değişimin ise istatistiki olarak anlamlı olmadığı belirlenmiştir (tablo 8). Öz Yeterlik ve
Spora Karşı Tutum arasında pozitif yönlü bir korelasyon tespit edilmiştir (tablo 11; p<0.05).
This research was carried out in order to examine the relationship between the personality traits, self efficacy beliefs and attitudes towards sports of the managers who have worked and are working in Physical Education Sports Colleges and Sports Sciences Faculties that provide sports education throughout Turkey. 27 female managers and 154 male managers participated in the research. For socio-demographic information in obtaining the data; The “General Self-Efficacy Belief Scale” consisting of 17 items and developed by Yıldırım and İlhan (2010) in order to determine personal information form, self-efficacy belief beliefs was developed by Costa and McCrae (2008) and as a result of factor analyzes by John and Srivastava (1999), 44 The Five Factor Personality Scale, which was reduced to one item, was administered using 42 items; Five factor personality inventory consisting of five different dimensions as “neuroticism”, “adaptation”, “openness to experience”, “extraversion” and “responsibility” and the Attitude towards Sports Scale (SYTÖ) developed by Şentürk (2012) determine the attitudes of individuals towards sports. Consisting of 25 items, the Attitude Scale towards Sports consists of three sub-dimensions as "interest in sports", "living with sports" and "active sports". While no statistical change was observed between the five factor personality dimension averages depending on the factors of gender, academic and administrative management, duration of management and total tenure (table 1,5,7,9), single managers had a statistically higher mean value in all dimensions compared to married managers. It has been determined that the difference between the dimensions of Extraversion, Openness and General mean values that he has is statistically significant (table 3; p<0.05). It was determined that the change between the mean values of Self-Efficacy, depending on the factors of gender, marital status, academic and administrative duty, year of office, and year of administration, was not statistically significant (table 2,4,6,8,10). Depending on the factors of Gender, Marital Status, Academic and Administrative Position, Year of Administration, the change between the average values of Attitude towards Sports is not statistically significant (table 2,4,6,10), the change in the active sportsmanship dimension depending on the manager's year of office factor is statistically significant (p<0.05), while the change in other dimensions was not statistically significant (table 8).
