Özet
The alunite mud waste of, aluminium industry and its properties have been investigated from chemical and ecological point of view. The special mixture obtained from CaO-H2O -NaCl system was proposed for prevention of dusting and environmental pollution in terms of the wasting material properties. The chemical and x-ray analysis of alunite ore and the resulting alunite mud waste were done and their compositional differences were identified. The dusting properties of tue waste material was found to be excessive and caused environmental pollution. In this study, some suggestions were made for prevention of pollution.
