Dünya’da ve Türkiye’de Covid-19 Pandemisinin Ekonomik Etkileri

| dc.description.abstract | Küreselleşme sonucu ulus devleti sınırlarının ortadan kalkmasıyla birlikte ülkeler arasındaki etkileşim hızlanmıştır. Covid-19, 2019 Aralık ayında Çin’in Wuhan kentinde bir akut solunum yolu rahatsızlığı şeklinde ortaya çıkmış olup kısa süre içerisinde tüm dünya ülkelerine yayılmıştır. Türkiye’de ilk vaka 11 Mart 2020 tarihinde görülmüştür. Dünya sağlık örgütü (WHO) 11 Mart 2020 tarihinde “pandemi” ilan etmiş ve ülkeler virüs vakalarına son verebilmek adına çeşitli tedbirler almışlardır. Alınan tedbirler ülke ekonomilerinin makroekonomik değişkenlerinde çeşitli sıkıntılara sebebiyet vermiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Covid-19 pandemisinin Dünya ve Türkiye ekonomisi üzerindeki ekonomik etkilerinin araştırılmasıdır. Sonuç itibariyle Covid-19 salgınının Çin’de ortaya çıkmasına rağmen etki derecesini en az hisseden ülke yine Çin olmuştur. Gelişmiş ekonomiler nezdinde en fazla hisseden ülke ise İngiltere olmuştur. Türkiye için makroekonomik göstergeler ile Covid-19 salgını arasındaki bağlantısının incelenmesi sonucunda, ekonomik büyüme ve dış ticaret, salgından ciddi anlamda hasar almıştır. Ancak 2021 yılında serbestleşmenin gerçekleşmesi ile durum eski seyrine dönmüştür. Diğer makroekonomik göstergelerde yaşanan sorunların ise Covid-19 salgınından kaynaklı olmadığı Türkiye’nin temel ekonomik problemlerinden kaynaklı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | With the disappearance of nation-state borders as a result of globalization, the interaction between countries has accelerated. It emerged in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and spread to all countries of the world in a short time. The World Health Organization declared a pandemic on March 11,2020, and countries have taken various measures from the virus. The measures taken caused various problems in the country's economies and macroeconomic variables. The aim of this study is to investigate the economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the global economy and the Turkish economy as a result of globalization. As a rasult, despite the emergence of the Covid-19 epidemic in China, the country that felt the least impact was China. In terms of developed economies, the country that felt the most was England. As a result of examining the link between macroeconomic indicators and the Covid-19 epidemic for Turkey, economic growth and foreign trade have been seriously damaged by the epidemic. However, with the realization of liberalization in 2021, the situation returned to its old course. It was concluded that the problems experienced in other macroeconomic indicators were not due to the Covid-19 epidemic, but to Turkey's main economic problems. | en_US |
