For teachers to orientate education process effectively, first of all, it's necessary to develop intelligence profiles of students. The aim of this research is to determine profiles of technical vocational high school students according to Multiple Intelligence Theory and to reveal the effect of these profiles on their year-end final grades. This research comprises 102 2nd class students studying in Electric, Chemistry, Computer and Automation Departments of Konya Selcuklu Adil Karaagac Anatolian Technical High School in 2008-2009 academic year. In this research, intelligence areas of the students are determined by using "Inventory of Multiple Intelligence Areas for Students" and "Multiple Intelligence Areas Profile for Students" and the data obtained were analyzed with SPSS 15.0 statistical program. As a result of analysis, it was determined that the least advanced intelligence areas without making discrimination between departments were Verbal-Linguistic, Musical-Rhythmic and Naturalist intelligence areas. It was observed that the most advanced intelligence areas were Social, Intrinsic and Physical-Kinesthetic intelligence areas. Differences were ensued between departments in terms of intelligence areas. It was found that students of Computer department had the highest averages in terms of year-end final grades. It was observed that development levels of intelligence areas did not have an effect on year-end success grade averages. © Sila Science.
