Özet
Bu çalışma, Konya bölgesindeki koyunlarda, BTV' ye özgü antikorların kompetitif ELISA (c-ELISA) ile seroprevalansını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla, kapalı işletme modeli uygulanan bazı özel hayvancılık işletmelerinde bulunan klinik olarak sağlıklı, aşılanmamış, 460 adet koyundan tesadüfi örnekleme metodu ile kan örnekleri alınmıştır. Toplanan kan serumu örnekleri, ticari c-ELISA ile BT virusuna karşı antikor varlığı yönünden incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, 460 koyun serumunun 46' sında (%10) BT virusuna özgü antikor varlığı saptanmıştır
This study was conducted to determine the seroprevalence of BTV-specific antibodies in sheep in Konya province using the competitive-ELISA. For this purpose, blood samples from a number of 460 sheep farmed in intensive conditions with a history of no vaccination against BT and reported being clinicaly healthy were randomly collected. The collected serum samples were examined by the presence of anti-BT virus antibodies by c-ELISA. By this investigation, 46 samples out of 460 (10 %) were detected to contain anti BT antibodies.
