| dc.description.abstract | Will Kymlicka, Çağdaş Siyaset Felsefesine Giriş adlı eserinde siyasi kavramların tartışıldığı geleneksel kategorilerin (sağ ve sol) darlığı ve yetersizliği nedeniyle bugün siyaset felsefesi alanında yapılan önemli çalışmaları anlamanın mümkün olmadığını öne sürer. Sözü geçen eserinde Kymlicka, her siyasi kuramın farklı bir nihai değere sahip olduğunu göz önünde bulundurarak siyaset felsefesini ahlaki bir zeminde tartışır. Düşünür bu eserinde, sağ özgürlük ve sol eşitlik gibi zıt değerlerin yanı sıra sözleşmeye dayanan uzlaşma, ortak yarar, fayda, haklar, kimlik ya da androjini gibi farklı nihai değerlere sahip siyaset kuramlarını bir araya getirerek adaletin ulaşılmaz bir hedef olmaktan çıkarılmasına yönelik kapsamlı bir çalışma sunar. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In An Introduction to Contemporary Political Philosophy Will Kymlicka puts forward the idea that understanding the significant studies made in the field of contemporary political philosophy is not possible with the traditional political categories (left-wing and right-wing) because they’re too narrow and insufficient. Taking into consideration that each political theory appeals to the ultimate values, Kymlicka deals with political philosophy based on ethics in his aforementioned work. In addition to values like right-wing freedom and left-wing egalitarianism which are opposed to each other in principle, the philosopher offers a comprehensive study which aims to dismiss the idea that justice is inaccessible by gathering the theories, which appeal to different ultimate values, like contractual agreement, the common good, utility, rights, identity and androgyny. | en_US |
