Özet
Özel koleksiyonların gelişmesinin bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıkan müzecilik, zaman geçtikçe belirli bir disiplin dahilin de çeşitli yollarla gün ışığına çıkarılan arkeolojik eserler başta olmak üzere taşınabilir kültürel değerlerin sergilendiği yerler haline gelmiş ve sonucunda da Müzoloji adı altında bir bilim dalı halini almıştır. Her geçen gün artan müze ve müzelerdeki eserlerin geniş kitleler tarafından görülebilmesi için müze ziyaretlerinin dışında farklı yollarla da bu eserlerin herkes tarafından görülebilmesi ve tanınması için özellikle Avrupa ülkelerindeki müzelerin 18. 19. ve 20 yüzyılda katalogları hazırlanarak bilim dünyasının hizmetine sunulmuş ve halen bu çalışmalar aralıksız devam etmektedir. Ancak benzeri uygulamaların ülkemizdeki müzeler için geçerli olduğunu söylemek halen çok güçtür. Yeterli olmasa da ülkemizde de başta büyük şehirlerimizdeki müzeler olmak üzere bilimsel kriterlere uygun kataloglar hazırlanmaya başlanmıştır. Söz konusu bu proje de bugüne kadar Ereğli Müzesi'ne kurtarma kazıları, satın alma veya hibe yoluyla kazandırılmış ama bir çoğu depoda olduğu için hem ziyaretçiler hem de ilgili bilim insanlarınca görülme imkanı olmayan bu eserlerin öncelikle bilimsel kriterler doğrultusunda incelenerek tanıtılması sağlanmış olacaktır. Diğer yandan da bu eserlerin bilim alemine sunulması ile benzer malzemelerin kıyaslanması için yeni materyaller elde edilmiş olacak, buna bağlı olarak da Konya, Ereğli ve çevresinin antik çağ yaşamı hakkında yeni bulgulara ulaşılabilmesi noktasında yeni veri kaynakları ortaya konmuş olacaktır. Sonuç olarak bu proje sayesinde Ereğli Müzesi'nin sahip olduğu arkeolojik zenginliğin boyutu ve ait oldukları toplumun sosyal, kültürel, ticari ve dini inanışları noktasında pek çok bilgiye ulaşılmasına imkan sağlanmış olacaktır. Bunun da Selçuk Üniversitesi tarafından desteklenen bir projeyle yapılıyor olması ise üniversitemizin arkeoloji alanındaki öncü üniversiteler arasında haklı yerini sağlamlaştırmasına vesile olacaktır. Bu projenin gerçekleştirilebilmesi için müzeden alınan izin doğrultusunda ilk önce çalışmaya dahil edilecek eserlerin tespiti yapılarak bunların malzeme dönemlerine göre tasnifleri yapılacaktır. Daha sonra bu eserlerin envanterleme, teknik çizim ve fotoğraflanmasından oluşan katalog çalışması eş zamanlı olarak gerçekleştirilerek bunların kökenleri ve tarihlendirmeleri, literatür çalışmaları ışığında gerçekleştirilerek proje sonuçlandırılacaktır.
Museumism, which emerged as a result of the development of private collections, has become a place where portable cultural values are exhibited, especially archeological artifacts that have been put to day light in various ways within a certain discipline, and as a result, it has become a science museum under the name of Müzoloji. In order to be seen and recognized by everybody other than the museum visits in order to be able to see the ever increasing museums and the works in the museums by the large masses, the catalogs of the museums in European countries especially 18th and 20th centuries have been prepared and presented to the world of science and these works are continuing without any interruption . But it is still very difficult to say that similar practices apply to the millions of our country. However, in our country, catalogs in accordance with scientific criteria, especially the ones in our big cities, have begun to be prepared. In other words, this project will be able to present the Ereğli Museum through rescue excavations, purchasing or grants, but since most of them are in depot, it is possible to see these works which are not possible to be seen by the related scientists. On the other hand, the introduction of these works to the world of science will provide new materials for comparison of similar materials, and accordingly new data sources will be revealed at the point where new findings about the antiquity life of Konya, Ereğli and its surroundings can be reached. As a result, thanks to this project, the size of the archaeological richness of the Ereğli Museum and the social, cultural, commercial and religious beliefs of the society to which they belong will be made available. If this is done with a project supported by Selçuk University, our university will be instrumental in consolidating its rightful place among the leading universities in archeology. In order to carry out this project, first of all the works to be included in the work shall be determined and classified according to the material periods. Then catalog work consisting of inventory, technical drawing and photographing of these works will be done concurrently and the project will be finalized with the light of literature studies and their origins and dates.
