dc.description.abstractThis study was carried out to investigate the effects of different seasons on growth performance of Konya Merino Lambs bom March-April 1997 (control group of 80 heads) and December 1996-January 1997 (experimental group of 63 heads) in Animal Research Institute in Konya. At birth, 1st, 2 ^ m 3rd, 4 ^ m pi ^ \# and 6th months of age, the lambs' weight were found as, 4.20, 10.11, 16.03, 22 13, 26.24, 29.59 and 32.58 kg in the control group and 4.23, 10.64, 17.26, 19.74, 23.03, 26.58 and 30.34 kg in the experimental group respectively. From the data obtained in this research, it was found out that the seasonal effect on the lambs' growth traits was important at all stages of growth except for that of birth weight. The effects of the litter size and sex on live weight were significant at birth, 1 and 2 ^ m months of age, at the other stages of growth there was not. dc.description.abstractBu araştırma, Konya Hayvancılık Araştırma Enstitüsünde yetiştirilen Konya Merinos koyunlarından Mart-Nisan 1997 döneminde doğan 80 baş (Kontrol Grubu) ve Aralık 1996-Ocak 1997 döneminde doğan 63 baş (Deneme Grubu) kuzunun büyüme özelliklerine mevsimin etkisini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada kuzuların doğum, 1., 2. 3 4 5 ve 6 ay canlı ağırlıklanı sırası ile Kontrol grubu kuzularda 4.20, 10.11, 16.03, 22 13, 26.24, 29.59 ve 32.58 kg. Deneme grubu kuzularda ise 4.23, 10.64, 17.26, 19.74, 23.03, 26.58 ve 30.34 kg olarak bulunmuştur. İncelenen fak- törlerden, kuzularda büyüme özellikleri üzerine mevsimin etkisi, doğum hariç bütün dönemlerde önemli, doğum tipi ile cinsiyetin etkisi, doğum, 1 ve 2. aylardaki canlı ağırlıklarda önemli, diğer dönemlerde önemsiz; ana yaşının etkisi ise doğumda önemli, diğer büyüme dönemlerinde önemsiz bulunmuştur.en_US
