dc.description.abstractIn light of the modern era, there have been constant debates and discussions regarding the impact of climate change and its potential to change countries' economic landscape. The concept of climate change has piqued the interests of researchers in the current business environment since it impacts not only human lives but also the trade relations between countries. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the impact of climate change on the economic growth in case Kenya. For this purpose, the thesis study has developed research objectives that will be addressed in this study. The effects of climate change on economic growth and development have been investigated and evaluated. Although there is no relationship between the selected variables in the long run, significant CO2 has a negative effect on economic growth in the short run.en_US
dc.description.abstractİçinde bulunduğumuz modern çağda, iklim değişikliğinin etkileri ve bunun, ülkelerin ekonomik görünümlerini değiştirme potansiyeli konusunda sürekli olarak tartışmalar yaşanmaktadır. İklim değişikliği kavramı, sadece insan yaşamını değil aynı zamanda ülkeler arasındaki ticari ilişkileri de etkilediği için mevcut ekonomik ortamda araştırmacıların sürekli olarak ilgisini çekmektedir. Bu nedenle bu araştırma, iklim değişikliğinin ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkisini Kenya örneğinde analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla, tez çalışmasında belirtilen araştırma hedefleri geliştirilmiştir. İklim değişikliğinin ekonomik büyüme ve kalkınma üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. Uzun dönemde seçilen değişkenler arasında ılışkı bulunmamasına rağmen kısa dönemde anlamlı CO2 ekenomik büyüme üzerinde olumsuz etkiye yaratmaktadır.en_US
