Ünvanlara göre, %2.5’i doktor, % 35’i AABT,
%51.5’i ATT, %11’i diğer gruplardan oluşmaktadır.
This study was conducted to examine how well-informed the healthcare professionals working in pre-hospital emergency health services, CCC (command control center) and EHSS (emergency health services station) in Konya province is about the Covid-19 algorithm and the use of personal protective equipment during the pandemic process. In our research, 410 health personnel working in Konya Province Ambulance Service Chief Physician, CCC, and EHSS who agreed to participate in the study in the working schedule were reached. In the collection of data; "Evaluating the Knowledge and Attitudes of Healthcare Professionals Working in Pre-Hospital Emergency Health Services About the Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) Infection Algorithm and the Use of Personal Protective Equipment During the Pandemic Process", which was prepared by the researcher, was used. 54.4% of the health personnel participating in our study are women. The rate of those in the 20-30 age group is 35.6%, 30-40 years 47.1%, and 17.3% over 40 years old. According to the titles, 2.5% are doctors, 35% AABT, 51.5% ATT, 11% other groups. Among the individuals participating in the study, the rate of those who had a mild Covid-19 infection was 27.1% (111 individuals), and the rate of those who had a severe infection was 5.6% (23 individuals). Common symptoms in infected personnel; fatigue (73.8%), muscle and joint pain (67.9%), fever (47.7%), cough (42.5%), loss of smell and/or taste and gastrointestinal system (GIS) symptoms (27.6%), and dyspnea (25.3%). Covid-19 infection status of health personnel according to their age was examined. It has been observed that there is a statistically significant relationship between the age of the personnel and the occurrence of Covid-19 infection. It has been observed that personnel between the ages of 30-40 have more Covid-19 infections. The incidence of symptoms according to the age of the health personnel was examined. It was observed that the difference between the mean of the sum of the symptoms according to the age of the personnel was statistically significant. When the differences in symptoms according to age are examined, it has been observed that the symptoms are more common when Covid-19 infection is present in personnel over the age of 40. It has been observed that the incidence of symptoms increases with increasing age. When the use of personal protective equipment is compared according to the titles and genders of the personnel, it has been observed that there is no statistically significant difference. In order to reinforce the theoretical knowledge of the health personnel and increase their practical skills, it can be recommended to carry out updated training at short intervals, to increase awareness about possible risks and to increase scientific studies in this field.
