Özet
Bölgesel sanayilerimizin daha verimli çalışması ve özellikle bu sanayilerde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin rekabet güçlerinin artırılmasında, etkin ve kalıcı sanayi kalkınma politikalarının hayata geçirilmesi önemli bir rol oynayacaktır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; bölgesel sanayi kalkınmasında fayda sağlayacak bölgesel sanayi kalkınma politikalarının belirlenmesi ve bu politikalar ışığında Konya sanayisinin mevcut durumu ve geleceğine ilişkin bir analiz yapmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda; Konya sanayisinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerden kırk tanesinin üst düzey yöneticileri arasında bir anket çalışması uygulanmış, bunun yanı sıra beş tane işletme yöneticisiyle Konya sanayisinin güçlü ve zayıf tarafları konusunda yüz yüze görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda Konya sanayisinde, kurumsallaşma, nitelikli personel, finans, girdi maliyetleri, girişimcilik gibi konularda önemli problemlerin olduğu, araştırma ve geliştirme faaliyetlerinin yeterli boyutlarda olmadığı, kayıt dışı ekonominin önemli oranlara ulaşarak sanayi için ciddi bir tehdit oluşturduğu, ihracat, doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları ve KOBİ'ler konusunda çözüm bekleyen problemlerin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan bu tespitler neticesinde Konya'da sanayi kalkınmasının sağlanabilmesi konusunda çözüm önerileri sıralanmıştır.
Accomplishing effective and permanent industrial development policies will have an important role in our regional industries working more effectively and improving rivalry ability of the firms especially operating in these industries. It is seen that the cities like İstanbul, Kocaeli, bursa, Gaziantep have come prominence as a result of regional industrial development policies applied up till now. Konya is also one of them. Konya has made significant progress toward industrialization recently. However, current situation related to industrialization is not sufficient. It is capital of importance to support Konya industry, which embodies lots of opportunities in terms of industrialization, with regional industry policies. The aim of this study is to adjust regional industrial development policies which will serve on the development of regional industry and to carry out an analysis related to current situation and future of Konya industry in the light of these policies. In accordance with this purpose a survey was conducted among the senior managers of forty firms which operate in Konya industry. On the other hand five business managers have been talked face to face on strong and deficient features of Konya industry. As a result of the studies it has been determined that there are significant problems related to industrialisation, skilled labour, finance, input cost, entrepreneurialism and research and development activities are not sufficient, unrecorded economy poses a serious threat for industry reaching an important scale and there are some problem which are to be solved connected with export, foreign investments and SMES. As a result of this determination, solution offers have been listed connected with providing industrial development in Konya.
