dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to investigate the role of smart technologies in the relationship between volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) business environment and organizational agility in the context of manufacturing firms. The study used a survey design to examine the moderating role of smart technologies in the relationship between VUCA and organizational agility. Using the survey technique, 473 valid questionnaires were obtained from 236 different machinery and automotive manufacturing enterprises operating in Konya Industrial Zones in Türkiye. Data analysis was conducted by using descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation model path analysis, and PROCESS moderating variable analysis technique. The results of the research showed that VUCA had a positive impact on organizational agility. Similarly, the results support the hypothesis that smart technologies increase organizational agility. As a result of the research, smart technologies have no significant moderating effect on the relationship between VUCA and Organizational Agility. This finding suggests that organizations are not using smart technologies effectively enough in VUCA environment and in their organizational agility activities.
dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada karmaşık, oynak, muğlak ve belirsiz iş ortamı (VUCA) ile örgütsel çeviklik arasındaki ilişkide akıllı teknolojilerin rolünün üretim işletmeleri bağlamında araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada VUCA ve örgütsel çeviklik arasındaki ilişkide akıllı teknolojilerin düzenleyici rolü incelenmiştir. Anket tekniği kullanılarak Konya sanayi bölgesinde makine ve otomotiv imalatında faaliyet gösteren 236 farklı sanayi işletmesinden 473 geçerli geri dönüşü elde edilmiştir. Veri analizi, tanımlayıcı istatistik, açıklayıcı faktör analizi, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi, yapısal eşitlik modeli yol analizi ve PROCESS düzenleyici teknikleri kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular, VUCA uyumunun örgütsel çeviklik üzerinde olumlu bir etkiye sahip olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Benzer şekilde, bulgular akıllı teknolojilerin örgütsel çevikliği artırdığı hipotezini desteklemektedir. Araştırma sonucunda VUCA ve örgütsel çeviklik ilişkisinde akıllı teknolojilerin anlamlı bir düzenleyici etkiye sahip olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuca göre, işletmelerin akıllı teknolojileri VUCA ve örgütsel çeviklik faaliyetlerinde yeterince etkili kullanmadığı söylenebilir.
