Özet
Bu çalışmada Osman b. Affan'ın rivayet ettiği hadisler ve kendisinin söz ve uygulamaları incelenmiş, onun hadis ve sünnetin naklindeki yeri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Hz. Osman, genellikle hilafeti dönemindeki ihtilaflarla bilinir. Halbuki o, ümmetin halifesi olacak kadar ilmî birikim ve yeterliliğe sahiptir. Her ne kadar hadis rivayet etmekten sakınsa da hadis kaynakları ondan gelen onlarca merfû ve mevkûf hadis kaydetmişlerdir. Bu araştırmada onun rivayet ettiği hadislerden ve kendi uygulamalarından temel kaynaklarda geçen 121 tanesi tahric edilerek değerlendirilmiştir. Neticede 56 rivayetin sahih, 14 rivayetin hasen, iki haberin uydurma, geri kalanların ise zayıf olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
In this work we tried to determine Osman b. Affan?s position in the transfusion of Hadith and Sunna with examining his transfusion narratives from the Prophet Mohammed and his own words and acts. He is usually known with disputes which were occuring in his Caliphate period. Whereas, he had scientific knowledge and adequacy enough to be a caliph of the ummah. Although he was wary of conveying hadith, hadith literature booked tens of hadiths which are conveyed from the Prophet or him. In this study 121 narratives are evaluated and made reference to their resource. Eventually, it was determined that 56 of them are authentic, 14 of them are strong, 2 of them are untrue and rest of them are weak.
