Özet
Ulusların geçmişinde iz bırakan olayların sinemada nasıl temsil edildiği her
zaman önemli bir tartışma konusu olmuştur. Filmler, tarihsel gerçeklikleri kurgusal
hikâyeler aracılığıyla izleyiciye sunmakta, tarihin algılanma ve yorumlanma biçimine
etki etmektedir. Bu noktada filmlerde ne anlatıldığı ve nasıl anlatıldığı önem
kazanmaktadır. Türkiye tarihinde önemli bir yeri olan Kıbrıs sorunu ise milliyetçi
ideolojinin ön planda olduğu olayları içermektedir. Bu çerçeveden hareketle bu
çalışma Kıbrıs sorununun milliyetçi-militarist ideolojiler çerçevesinde sinemada nasıl
temsil edildiğini araştırmaktadır.
Çalışmada incelenmek üzere On Korkusuz Adam (Tunç Başaran, 1964),
Şehitler (Çetin İnanç, 1974), Göklerdeki Sevgili (Remzi Jöntürk, 1966), Kartal
Yuvası (Natuk Baytan, 1974) ve Zindan (Remzi Jöntürk, 1974) filmleri örnek olarak
belirlenmiştir. Bu filmler ideoloji analizinden ve tarihsel yaklaşımdan yararlanılarak
çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada, Kıbrıs sorununu konu alan filmlerin dönemin politik
atmosferiyle yakından ilişkili olduğu ve milliyetçi-militarist ideolojiye hizmet eden
temsiller barındırdığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
How the events that left their mark on the history of nations are represented in cinema has always been an important topic of discussion. Films present historical realities to the audience through fictional stories and influence the way history is perceived and interpreted. At this point, what is told in the films and how it is told gains importance. The Cyprus problem, which has an important place in the history of Turkey, includes events in which nationalist ideology is at the forefront. Based on this framework, this study investigates how the Cyprus problem is represented in cinema within the framework of nationalist-militarist ideologies. The films On Korkusuz Adam (Tunç Başaran, 1964), Şehitler (Çetin İnanç, 1974), Göklerdeki Sevgili (Remzi Jöntürk, 1966), Kartal Yuvası (Natuk Baytan, 1974) and Zindan (Remzi Jöntürk, 1974) were selected as examples to be examined in the study. These films have been analyzed by using ideology analysis and historical approach. In the research, it was concluded that the films about the Cyprus problem were closely related to the political atmosphere of the period and contained representations that served the nationalist-militarist ideology.
