Özet
Tarih boyunca Türk Sanatı ve kültürünün ana unsurlarından birisi olan halıkilim sanatı tüm dünyada gerek renkleri gerekse olağanüstü desenleri ve sembolik
anlatımı açısından özel bir öneme sahiptir. Bu çalışmamızda özellikle halı-kilim
sanatındaki tasarım özellikleri ile modern Batı sanatının önde gelen isimlerinden olan
Paul Klee’nin resimlerinin benzer ilkeleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Şiir ve müzikten
ilham alan, çok yönlü yaratıcı bir sanatçı olan Klee’nin yoğun bir şekilde doğu
sanatından etkilendiği bilinmektedir. Yaptığı seyahatlerde kendisinde en çok iz
bırakan Tunus ve Mısır gezilerinde İslam kültür ve sanatını yakından tanıma fırsatı
bulmuştur. Klee İslam sanatından esinlenerek, bir sanatçı olarak bu sanatın verilerini
kendi kuralları ile bağdaştırmıştır. Halı ve kilim sanatında görülen temel ilkeler gibi
Klee’nin resimlerinde de nokta, çizgi ve biçimin simgelere dönüştüğünü, fon figür
ilişkisinin birbirini tamamladığını, kompozisyonların modüler yapılanmaya

dayandığını gözlemlenmiştir. Bu çalışmamızda Halı-kilim sanatının tasarım
özellikleriyle çizgi, nokta ve biçimlerden oluşan birim tekrarları figür ve fon
eşdeğerliği gibi ilkelerle Klee’nin resimleri arasındaki benzerlikleri tespit etmeye ve
somut verilerle desteklemeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmamızda Paul Klee’nin sanatı,
düşsel dünyası, dünya görüşü, doğayı algılama biçimi ile eski Türk kozmolojisi
arasındaki benzerliklere de değinilmiştir.
Carpet-rug art, which is one of the main elements of Turkish Art and culture throughout history, has a special importance all over the world in terms of its colors, extraordinary patterns and symbolic expression. In this study, we will focus on the design features of carpet-rug art and the similar principles of the paintings of Paul Klee, one of the leading names in modern western art. It is known that Klee, a versatile creative artist inspired by poetry and music, was heavily influenced by eastern art. He had the opportunity to get to know Islamic culture and art closely during his travels to Tunisia and Egypt, which left the most impression on him. Inspired by Islamic art, Klee, as an artist, combined the data of this art with her own rules. Like the basic principles seen in our carpets and kilims, we observe that point, line and form turn into symbols in Klee's paintings, the background-figure relationship complements each v other, and the compositions are based on modular structuring. In this study, we tried to identify the similarities between Klee's paintings and to support them with concrete data, with the design features of carpet-rug art and principles such as unit repetitions consisting of lines, dots and shapes, figure and background equivalence. In addition, in our study, the similarities between Paul klee's art, his imaginary world, his world view, his perception of nature and old Turkish cosmology are also mentioned.
