dc.description.abstract | In this study, new bis(amino-R-glyoximes) and polyamidoxime, 3,3'-dimethyl-1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-bis (aminoglyoxime) L1, 3,3'-dimethyl-1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-bis(aminophenylglyoxime) L2, 3,3'-dimethyl-1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-bis(amino-p-tolylglyoxime) L3 and Poly-3,3'-dimethyl-1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-diaminodioxime L4, have been synthesized from anti-chloroglyoxime, anti-phenylchloroglyoxime, anti-p-tolylchloroglyoxime, anti-dichloroglyoxime and (o-tolidine) aromatic diamines. Their polymeric complexes with Ni(II), Cu(II) and Co(II) have been obtained. The Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes of these ligands are proposed to be square-planar while the Co(II) complexes are octahedral with water molecules as axial ligands. H-1-NMR, IR spectra and elemental analyses data are given. | en_US |
