The aim of this study is to identify some biochemical values as a result of testosterone enanthate application to male rats during adolescence. In the study, 30 male Wistar rats of 35 days were divided to three equal groups as experiment, positive control and negative control. Groups were divided into 10 equally, to the first group, for 3 weeks, 5 days in a week at a dose of 10 mg/kg (SID) testosterone enanthate was injected by diluted in peanut oil intraperitoneally. To the second group only peanut oil was applied in the same way, while the negative group was no did any application. At the end of 3 weeks, all rats were euthanized after taking blood from heart. Serum albumin, alkaline phosphatase (ALP), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB), creatinine, gamma glutamil transferase (GGT), total protein and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) levels were measured with auto-analyzer. While testosterone enanthate application caused increases (p < 0.05) in serum total protein level of rats in the negative control group compared to other groups, in the levels of urea, increases (p < 0.05) were found in the negative control group according to positive control group. Especially short term use of testosterone enanthate at an early age may cause negative effects on protein metabolism and kidney can be concluded. © Sila Science.en_US
