değişkenler için bağımsız gruplarda t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (one-way anova); normal dağılım
ilgili stresin %13,2’sini (adjusted R2
= ,132) açıkladığı belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin çalıştığı birim
(yoğun bakım, acil servis ve ameliyathane) (β=,312) , acı çeken hasta alt boyut (β=-,131), iş yükü alt
boyut (β=-,136), çocuk sahibi olma durumunun (bir çocuk) (β=-,098) iş doyumunun yordayıcısı
olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu değişkenlerin iş doyumunun %14,5’ini (Adjusted R
2
This research aimed to determine the work-related stress and job satisfaction levels of nurses working in a university hospital; It was conducted to examine the factors affecting these variables. The research is descriptive and relationship-seeking. The sample of the study consists of 371 nurses. Research data were collected at Selcuk University Medical Faculty Hospital between January 01 and March 31, 2022. Data were collected using the Personal Information Form, Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale and Nurse Stress Scale. In the analysis of the data, independent groups t test for normally distributed variables, one-way analysis of variance (one-way anova); Mann-Whitney U Test, pearson correlation and linear regression analysis were used for non-normally distributed variables. A p value of <0,05 was considered statistically significant. According to the results of the research; The mean age of the nurses was 27,39± 4,13, 68,7% were female, 49,9% were married, 78,4% of them have university level education., 45,8% were in risky units. It was determined that he worked in the intensive care, operating room and emergency service. It was determined that 85,2% of the nurses participating in the study worked in shifts, 74,7% were contracted in the institution, and 63,9% had been working in the unit for at least 1 years. Unit where nurses work (intensive care, emergency room and operating room) (β=,286), marital status (single) (β=-,222), external satisfaction sub-dimension (β=-,199) was found to be a predictor of workrelated stress. It was determined that these variables explained 13,2% (adjusted R 2 = ,132) of workrelated stress. The unit where nurses work (intensive care, emergency room and operating room) (β=,312), patient suffering sub-dimension (β=-,131), workload sub-dimension (β=-,136), having a child (one child) (β=-,098) was found to be a predictor of job satisfaction. It was determined that these variables explained 14,5% (Adjusted R 2 = ,145) of job satisfaction. As a result, the work-related stress and job satisfaction of the nurses are moderate. Workrelated stress and job satisfaction of nurses are important for the quality of nursing care. Therefore, it should be aimed to determine the risky nurse groups for high job-related stress and low job satisfaction and to include them in the priority group, to follow the work-related stress and job satisfaction levels closely, to plan the workload, and to reduce stress levels and increase job satisfaction with appropriate interventions.
