Özet
In this study, Resource Dependent Assembly Line Balancing approach is adapted to the concept of Parallel Assembly Line Balancing and this problem is called Parallel Assembly Line Balancing with Resource Dependent Task Times (RDALBP). A binary integer linear mathematical model is proposed for RDALBP. The proposed model is validated on an illustrative example and a scenario analysis is performed by comparing the proposed RDALBP solutions of the illustrative problem with independent RDALB solutions for four different cycle time values. The results show that, the RDALBP provides better solutions in total cost for three out of four different cycle time scenarios. The average cost improvement of RDALBP is 8.8% compared to independent RDALB solutions. © IFAC.
