dc.description.abstractTiroid disfonksiyonu bazen hemostaz bozuklukları ile birlikte görülebilmektedirler. Tiroid hormonunun trombositlerin adezyon ve agregasyonunu etkilediği ve bu nedenle hemostaz bozukluklarına neden olduğu belirtilmektedir. Bu çalışmada yeni tanı almış ve tedavi uygulanmamış 17 hipotiroidi ve 17 hipertiroidili hastada trombositlerin agregasyonu ölçüldü. Sonuçlar sağlıklı kişiler ile kıyaslandı. Hipotiroidili hastalarda ADP ve epinefrin stimulasyonuna trombosit agregasyon yanıtının anlamlı olarak uzadığı (p 0.05), hipertiroidi de ise azaldığı tespit edildi (p 0.0-5). Hipotiroidili hastalarda trombosit agregasyonunun uzaması, hipertiroidili hastalarda ise azalmasından dolayı; trombosit agregasyonu ile tiroid hormon düzeyi arasında önemli bir ilişkinin olduğunu düşünmekteyiz.en_US
dc.description.abstractThyroid dysfunction may be seen together with hemostatic abnormalities. It is known that thyroid hormones effect thrombocyte adhesion and aggregation leading to hemostatic abnormalities. In this study thrombocyte aggregation of 17 patients with hypothyroidism and 17 patients with hyperthyroidism, who were new diagnosed and were not treated previously, was measured. Results were compared to healthy controls. Thrombocyte aggregation prolonged in response to stimulation by ADP and epinephrine in patients with hypothyroidism where as it decreased in patients with hyperthyroidism (p < 0.05). Because thrombocyte aggregation prolonged in hypothyroidism and decreased in hyperthyroidism, we think that there is a relationship between thrombocyte aggregation and thyroid hormone levels.en_US
