Özet
Toplumda kadınlara olumsuz yönde etki eden unsurlardan birisi toplumsal baskı ve şiddettir. Yapılan bu araştırmada içerik analizi yöntemi ile ele alınan Big Little Lies adlı dizide yer alan başrol kadın oyuncular temelinde, ataerkil toplum yapısının annelik rolü üzerinden kadınların hayatlarında oluşturduğu baskı ve sınırlamanın yanı sıra kadınların maruz kaldığı şiddet türleri ve etkileri incelenmiştir. Araştırma ayrıca, toplumda yer alan şiddete maruz kalan kadın ve şiddet uygulayan erkek tipolojisinin sınırlarını genişletilirken, şiddetin maruz kalan kadının yanı sıra çocuklar üzerindeki etkisine de odaklanmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında ulaşılan en önemli sonuç, şiddetin farklı boyut ve etkilerine bağlı olarak farklı sonuçlar doğurmasına rağmen rağmen tüm sonuçların şiddete maruz kalan kadın üzerinde olumsuz etki oluşturmasıdır. Dikkat çeken bir diğer önemli sonuç ise, kadına yönelik şiddetin sonuçlarının şiddete maruz kalan kadının yanı sıra çocuklar üzerinde de olumsuz etki oluşturmasıdır. Diğer önemli sonuçlar ise kadınların annelik rolü temelinde maruz kaldıkları toplumsal baskının kadın yaşamına olumsuz etkisi, şiddete maruz kalan kadın ve şiddet uygulan erkek tanımların olmadığı ve kadınların maruz kaldığı şiddeti paylaşmasının şiddetin sonuçları ve psikolojik etkilerini azaltmadaki önemli rolüdür.
One of the elements that negatively affects women in society is social oppression and violence. In this study, the role of women in the series Big Little Lies, which is covered by content analysis method, was examined on the basis of the pressure and limitation of patriarchal society structure in women's lives through the role of motherhood, as well as the types and effects of violence that women are exposed to. The research also focuses on the impact of violence on exposed women as well as children, while expanding the boundaries of the typology of women exposed to violence and men engaged in violence in society. The most important conclusion reached within the scope of the study is that although violence has different consequences depending on different dimensions and effects, all results have a negative effect on the woman exposed to violence. Another important conclusion is that the consequences of violence against women have a negative impact on children as well as women who are exposed to violence. Other important results: the negative impact of social oppression on women's lives on the basis of the role of motherhood, there are no definitions of violence-stricken women and violent men and who has been subjected to violence and sharing the violence that women are exposed to is the important role of violence in reducing its consequences and psychological effects.
