dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada üniversite öğrencilerinin yalnızlık düzeyleri ile benlik saygısı düzeyleri ve cinsiyet arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmektedir. Örneklem toplam 824 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin toplanması amacıyla UCLA Yalnızlık Ölçeği ve Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise F testi, t-testi ve Tukey Testi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular; benlik saygısı, insanlara güven, eleştiriye karşı duyarlılık, depresif duygulanım, psikosomatik belirtiler, kişiler arası ilişkilerde tehdit hissetme, tartışmalara katılma düzeylerine ve cinsiyete göre öğrencilerin yalnızlık düzeyleri arasındaki farklılığın önemli olduğunu; hayalperestlik ve benlik değerinin sürekliliği düzeyine göre ise farkların önemsiz olduğunu göstermektedir. Elde edilen bulgular literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe relationships between the levels of loneliness and levels of self-esteem of university students. In this research it has been tried to explain the relationship between the levels of loneliness and levels of self- esteem and its subdimentions of the students at Ondokuz Mayıs University. The study includes 824 samples. Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and UCLA Loneliness Scale are used to collect data. In the statistical analysis F Test, t,test and Tukey Test tecniques are used. The research pointed out that, self-estem, reliance on people , sensitivty to critism, depressive affection, psychosomatic indications, feeling of being threatened of personel relations, the levels of participitation to discussions and in terms of gender, the levels of loneliness of students were sicnaficantly differentiated. The differences between continuity of self-esteem and daydreaming in term of the levels of loneliness of students were not sicnaficantly differentiated. The findings are discussed in the light of literature.en_US
