| dc.description.abstract | Kilikya, Akdeniz boyunca uzanan kıyıları nedeniyle her dönemde oldukça önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Bölgenin bu özelliğine, Anadolu'yu Mezopotamya'ya bağlayan önemli bir geçiş noktası olması da eklenmelidir. Ayrıca bölgenin bu özelliklerinin yanı sıra madenleri, ormanları ve tarım alanları antik çağ ekonomisi ve uygarlıkları için büyük önem taşıyan bir başka noktadır. Böylesine özelliklere sahip bölge hiç şüphesiz birçok uygarlığın ilgisini çekmiştir. Bu uygarlıklar doğuda Asurlular, Fenikeliler ve Persler, batıda Grekler bir başka ifadeyle Ege dünyasındaki topluluklardır. Bölge için önemli ancak problemli olan Akhamenid Dönem'i ile Persler bölgenin batıya açılmasında çok önemli bir etken olmuştur. Perslerin bölgeye gelmesi ve devamında bölgeyi ordu ve donanmaları için üs olarak kullanmaları Kilikyalıların Greklerle ya da Ege Dünyası ile olan ilişkilerinin artmasında oldukça önemli bir noktadır. Bu artan ilişkiler sonucunda bizimde konumuzu oluşturan Attika seramikleri Kilikyalılar tarafından satın alınmaya başlanmıştır. Bölgede artan arkeolojik kazılar sonucunda bulunan ve müzelerde sergilenen Attika vazoları bu çalışmanın ana çıkış noktasıdır. Ayrıca bu vazolar ışığında bölgenin Yunanistan ve Ege dünyası ile olan ilişkileri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bölgenin Akhamenid Dönem'deki yapısı ve Perslere ait kalıntılar bir araya getirilerek derlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda özellikle Attika Seramikleri (form, ressam ve dönemler) ve Pers kalıntılarının bir araya getirildiği ve de sonuçlarının değerlendirildiği bu çalışma bir ilktir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Cilicia has always held a very important position in every period due to its coasts extending along the Mediterranean Sea. Being an important transit point which connects Anatolia to Mesopotamia must be added to this characteristic of the region. Also, apart from these characteristics of the region, its mines, forests and cultivated lands were important for the economy of the antic age and its civilizations. Undoubtedly, the region with such properties had attracted the attention of many civilizations. These civilizations include Assyrians, Phoenicians and Persians at the east and the Greeks, in other words, communities in the Aegean world in the west. Persians had become a very important factor for the region to open up to the west with Achaemenid period. The Persians? coming to the region and subsequently using the region as a base for their army and fleet, is a very important point in the increase of the relationships between the Cilicians and the Greeks or Aegean world. At the result of these increased relations, Attic pottery, which constitute our subject, had started to be purchased by the Cilicians. Attic pottery, which were found in archaeological excavations and being displayed in museums, are the main starting point of this study. In addition, the region's relationship with Greece and Aegean world have dwelled upon in the light of these vases. The structure of the region in Achaemenid period and the ruins that belong to Persians are collected and compiled. In this context, this is the first study in which Attic pottery (form, painters and periods) and Persian ruins are gathered together and evaluated. | en_US |
