| dc.description.abstract | Roma Plastik Sanatında Apotheosis konulu bu tezimde Roma Dönemi kabartmalı eserlerde işlenen İmparator ve İmparatoriçelerin tanrısallaştırılması ele alınmıştır. Apotheosis; Bir insanın ilahlaştırılması ya da tanrılar katına yerleştirilmesi, tanrı ya da tanrıçaların eşliğinde göğe yükselmesi anlamına gelmektedir. Bu kavram ilk olarak tanrıların insanlaştırılması (antropomorfizm) üzerine şekillenmiş daha sonra aynı düşünce sistemi "heros" kavramıyla insanlar ve tanrılar arasında bir kahramanlar kültü olarak kabul görmüştür. Daha sona, Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi'nde kendisini yenileyip, geliştirmiş ve resmiyet kazanmıştır. Roma tarihi boyunca birçok farklı kültüre ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Buda Roma'nın çok zengin bir kültür ve inanç sistemine sahip olmasını sağlamıştır. Bu farklı inanca sahip insanların yönetimini kolaylaştırmak ve bu kültürler arasında birlikteliği sağlamak amacıyla dinde düzenlemeler yapılmıştır. Bu konuda da en önemli düzenlemeleri İmparator Augustus yapmıştır. Augustus; dini, siyasette bir propaganda aracı olarak kullanmıştır. This concept was first shaped on the anthropomorphism of the gods, and later on as a hero among the people and the gods, with the concept of "heros". Later, in the Roman Empire period, it renewed itself, developed it and became official. Throughout Roman history, he has hosted many different cultures.
