Özet
II. Dünya Savaşı süresince, Türkiye'nin yaşadığı iç ve dış sorunlara karşı ülkenin tepkisini basın yansıtır. Bu dönemin özelliklerini anlamamız açısından basın önemli bir kaynaktır. Akşam Gazetesi, II. Dünya Savaşı yıllarında ülkenin en çok satan gazeteleri arasında yer alır ve kamuoyu oluşturulmasında etkili olur. Bu tez çalışmasında; 1939-1945 yılları arasında Akşam Gazetesi'ne göre II. Dünya Savaşı'nda Almanya konusu ele alındı. II. Dünya Savaşı sürecinde Almanya'nın savaştaki durumu ve Türk-Alman ilişkileri Akşam Gazetesi'nin bakış açısına göre incelendi. Akşam Gazetesi II. Dünya Savaşı boyunca Türk Hükümeti'nin politikasına paralel yayın yapmıştır. Akşam Gazetesi savaşın başlaması ile birlikte Türkiye'nin savaş dışında kalmasını savunurken, Almanya'nın ilerleyişinin olduğu dönemde hükümet politikasına paralel olarak Almanya'yı destekler yayınlar yapmıştır. 1944 yılından itibaren Almanya'nın savaşı kaybedeceği anlaşılınca Müttefik devletler tarafında yerini almıştır. Gazete II. Dünya Savaşı boyunca Türkiye'nin politikası gibi bir yayın politikası izlemiştir.
Throughout the Second World War, the Press reflect te reaction of the country against the internal and external challenges which Turkey faced. In order to understand the characteristics of this period, the Press is in important source. The Akşam Newspaper is amongst the most selling newspapers of the Country during the Second World War and influential in generating public opinion. In this Thesis work, subject of Germany in the Second World War according to Akşam Newspaper between the years 1939 and 1945 has been elaborated. The position of Germany in the war during the Second World War and Turkish-German relations have been studies with the view of Akşam Newspaper. The Akşam Newspaper, throughout the Second War published in paralell with the policy of the Turkish Government. The Akşam Newspaper, while advocating for Turkey to remain out of the war, publishet in paralell to Government policy in support of Germany in her periot of advancement. As of 1944 when it was understood that Germany would lose the war, took its place alongside the allied countries. The newspaper followed a publishing policy like Turkey's policy through the Secret World War.
