| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmanın amacı, ön organize edicilerin (Advance Organizer) öğrenci erişi, tutum ve öğrenilenlerin kalıcılığına etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmada kontrol gruplu öntest-sontest deseni kullanılmıştır. Selçuk Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Yabancı Diller Eğitimi Bölümü İngilizce Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı ikinci sınıfında okuyan toplam 83 öğrenciden oluşan iki şube araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Random yöntemiyle iki şubeden biri deney, biri de kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Tüm gruplara önce tek oturumda 12 maddeden oluşan Öğretimde Planlama Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği, öğretilecek üç ünitedeki bilgileri kapsayan 40 sorudan oluşan Başarı Testi seviye belirleme testi olarak uygulanmıştır. Üç hafta (3x5 ders/saat) süre ile deney grubunda ön organize edicilerden (sözel, görsel ve eylemsel) yararlanılarak, kontrol grubunda ön organize ediciler kullanılmadan konular araştırmacı tarafından işlenmiştir. Üç haftalık uygulama sonunda Başarı Testi ve Derse Karşı Tutun Ölçeği sontest olarak uygulanmış, Başarı Testi sontest-öntest farkı erişi olarak alınmıştır. Son testten dört ay sonra başarı testi aynı gruplara öğretilenlerin kalıcılığını belirlemek amacıyla uygulanmıştır. Ortalama, Standart Sapma, t-testi, Frekans ve Yüzde teknikleri kullanılarak yapılan veri çözümlemeleri sonunda, yüksek öğretim öğrencilerinin öğretiminde kullanılan ön organize ediciler ile öğrenci erişisi arasında anlamlı, öğretilen konuya yönelik öğrenci tutumu ve öğrenilenlerin kalıcılığı arasında anlamsız bir ilişki bulunmuştur. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this research is The Effects Of Advance Organizers on The Student Achivement, Attitudes And Retention Of The Things taught. Pretest-posttest experimental design with control group was made use of in the research. The two senior groups in the English Teacher Education program of the Faculty of Education at Selçuk University formed the sample for the research. One group was used as the experiment groups and one as the control group. The Attitude Towards Lesson Taught Scale consisting of 12 items and the Success Test containing 40 questions were administered to all the groups in a single session as a pretest. İn three weeks, experiment group was given different advance organizer(verbal, visual and action) in the teaching session, but not the control group. Three weeks later, each of the groups was administered the Success Test and Attitude Towards Lesson Taught Scale given as posttest. The diference of the pretest-posttest is accepted as a achivement. Success test used to eplore the retention of the things was given to all the groups four monts after posttest. The statistical techniques Mean, Standart Deviation, t-Test, Frequency and Percentage were used to analyze the data. The relation between accivement and advance organizer was found to be significant, but not attitudes towards lessons taught and retention of the things taught. | en_US |
