| dc.description.abstract | Aka Gündüz (1884?1958) yarım asırdan fazla Türk edebiyatına hizmet eden, yazdığı eserlerle dönemine ayna tutan, Balkan Savaşları sırasında, Mütareke Dönemi'nde ve Millî Mücadele yıllarında, Türk milletinin millî ve manevi duygularını ateşleyen, Cumhuriyet'in ilanından sonra ise yeni rejimin halk tarafından benimsenmesi için yoğun çaba harcayan fakat şimdiye kadar hak ettiği ilgi ve değeri görmediğine inandığımız, edebiyatımızın unutulan simalarından biridir. Edebiyat tarihimizin en üretken şahsiyetleri arasında yer alan Gündüz; şiir, tiyatro, hikâye, roman, mizah, hiciv gibi edebiyatın birçok türünde eserler kaleme almıştır. Edebiyat dünyasına şiir denemeleriyle girmiştir. Bununla birlikte edebiyat tarihimizdeki asıl yerini romancı kimliğiyle almıştır. Yazdığı romanlar döneminin en çok satılan ve okunan eserleri arasındadır. Gündüz, bütün edebî hayatı süresince kaleme aldığı ürünlerle yaşadığı coğrafyaya hizmet etmiş, toplumsal sorunlarla yakından ilgilenmiş, bu sorunlara somut çözüm önerileri sunmuş, halkın okuması, yazması ve aydınlanması için yoğun gayret göstermiş bir aydın, bir gazeteci, bir edebiyatçı ve nihayetinde bir romancı olarak Türk edebiyatı tarihi içinde ihmal edilmemesi gereken önemli bir şahsiyettir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Aka Gündüz (1884-1958) is one of the forgotten people of our literature who served Turkish Literature for more than half a century, mirrored his period through the works he wrote, triggered national and spiritual feelings of Turkish Nation during the Balkan Wars, period of Parley and the National Struggle years, busted a gut to adopt the new regime after the proclamation of the republic; yet we believe that he hasn?t observed any interest and value he deserves. Gündüz, one of the most prolific people in our history of literature, wrote in many classes of literature such as poems, plays, stories, novels, humor and satires. He entered into the world of literature through his essays. Nevertheless, he was in our history of literature with his identity of novelist. The novels written by him are among the best seller and most read novels of his period. Gündüz is an important person who served to the geography where he lived through his works that he wrote during his literary life, took a strong interest in the sociological problems, proposed concrete solutions to those problems, and busted a gut for the education and enlightenment of public as an intellectual, a man of letters and finally a novelist that shouldn?t be neglected in the history of Turkish literature. | en_US |
